I added these to my 2015 F350 so I can keep my windows lowered about 1 inch to prevent extreme heat build up (It is Summertime in South Alabama and we have 90 degree temps and higher every day) in the cab of my 2015 F350 King Ranch "Big Dog Edition" 6.7 Diesel long bed. These visors also allow me to keep my windows down 1 inch while driving in the rain and rain does not come inside the window and get me or my passengers wet. The fresh wind blowing on a rare, cool summer morning or late afternoon is very refreshing. The "outside" 3M tape install was straightforward and sticks VERY WELL. Took me right at 30 minutes to do four of these all by myself, right and left front and right and left back. Instructions were GREAT, alcohol pads, prep 3M adhesive worked well, and the scotch pad provided did its job. After prep, just line one piece up at time in the correct place, pull tape ends 1 inch, line it up and press on while removing the 3M automotive tape. Piece of cake. Now do this 3 more windows and you are done. After the first time, the other three go MUCH MUCH faster than the first one. Mine all took longer because I had a Goldadore and Lab/Aussie helping me, so it took extra time with them, but they loved the results. They were happy as I was with the results because now they get to ride with the window cracked 1 inch and they not only get fresh air, they get to bark at friends and strangers, other dogs, and they already know the smell of the drive up window at McDonalds (McDonalds gives them both a free order of small fries and a dog treat! I am going to start riding through all the burger joints with dogs for the treats, Hopefully I can drive through a starbucks and they will give me a coffee! The install was SUPER EASY. Pretty happy with these so far. Rapid shipping, no damage on arrival. Came with cleaning pads to prep the window channel, nice touch. These mount IN the window channel, like where the window goes. Not outside over the window. No tape going on the paint of your ride. Does not affect my window performance at all. Placed unit in window with to check fit, all checked out. Pulled tape backing off and set window ventshades back in track. Rolled up windows to apply pressure and set tape. Left over night, these babies are rock solid. Another economical, easy upgrade to your truck. Enhances aesthetics, lets you enjoy some air while raining, or leave windows cracked when hit out to reduce interior temps. I like these items, they fit perfectly and NOTHING WRONG with vent shades. Gave it a 5 because the vent shades are that good, and don't believe in down rating a item because of issues with whatever it's being applied to. I own a 2013 F350 Lariat, it has all the bells and whistles (not bragging, just stay with me). I did not know the windows had sensors that would be so sinstive as to detect the vent shades in the channel. Needless to say, when the window goes up, it automatically goes down. For the skeptic out there, I have been installing vent shades on my vehicles for many years and never had this issue. Had a Ford Explorer Sport, wth same type vent shade and no problems. Bottom line is, great products, will buy again and highly recommend. Never had cracking or coming loose problems in past. Please check your vehicle to see if your windows have a sensor before purchasing. If anyone knows how to modify or fix this problem please let me know, I have them still. UPDATE: Window problem solved. 1. Install 2. Get in vehicle and close door 3. Close the window, DO NOT LET GO OF SWITCH FOR 2 SECONDS, HOLD IT!! 4. Release switch let sit for 48 hours. 5. I installed them myself on my 1999 F250 Super Duty Crew Cab in about 30-40 minutes. I took my time. But, they installed as they described. I left the windows up for 72 hrs. and they are secure. I really like the streamline look of the "in-channel" style. A local custom truck shop recommended the external taped on style. I'm sure they work great also. However, I'm very glad I decided to use the in-channel style. Very happy with the look on my restored older truck. Highly recommend them. ... show more

Where do I begin. This is the most inferior quality of a product I’ve bought for this truck. There truly is no positives, but here’s a list of some negatives: *Poor quality. Shade/visors are small and still allow the morning condensation to roll in off the shade/visor and onto the door arm rest *The 2 way tape has a plastic cover that you peel to stick to truck (seen In pictures). Well the plastic cover had adhesive on it, which stuck to the original packaging upon opening. This exposes the sticky side of the tape and had to be carefully peeled off the packaging and placed back on the tape. *There was no quality control regarding placement of the 2 way tape on visors (see pictures). There were chucks cut and stuck to the wrong side of visor. Tape stuck on leading edge of one visor and not on the other leading to exposed tape after install. Tape hanging off visor that had to be trimmed. Just garbage for the $70 price tag of these. *Abrasions/scratches: This was the least of my concern, but still unbelievable for the price of these. *Fit and finish: Both the driver side window and passenger side window hit the visors, causing the window to roll back down. If I were to keep these, I would have to cut the visor to make fit. Yes, I read the instructions and installed exactly as intended.
