Ok let me start by saying I like it. BUT…. I wasn’t expecting for it to be so small. I knew it was not going to be your normal size household pot/pan but I didn’t think it would be something you could only fit a piece of bologna/spam or a can of soup in. This is better suited for hikers. If you are tent camping and making a full course meal this will not suffice. I’ll keep it since it’s such a cute set. Will come in handy for boiling water for tea or frying an egg.

I wasn’t prepared for how tiny these pots are and initially thought I would find them useless. I wanted some perspective and heated up a 15 ounce can of pork and beans in the pot and fried a large egg in the skillet. Not too small to be useful for 1-2 people (I know, other reviewers have been saying this - I just couldn’t visualize it). Even using butter, there was some sticking of egg in the skillet. The sticking was at the edge and came up pretty easily. I was using a butane stove like you would see at an “omelet station” and the burner was about 2/3 the diameter of the pot or skillet. Since the flame is along the circumference, heat is concentrated near the outer edges of the pot. This will work best with some sort of backpacking stove with a small diameter burner that has the holes in the top, or a small twig burner. I’ll throw my two cents worth in on the topic of the folding handles. I would be shocked if the plastic was molded on top of the wire handles. I think you could lose a pot full of food if you let the plastic melt a little. I wasn’t willing to try it to be sure. This little set will find a place in my Jeep to boil water for coffee or heating up some soup or pork and beans.

Overall I'm pretty happy this this set of camping pans. Its a perfect size for a single person to use as a soup pot and a tiny frying pan. The whole set is very lightweight and I love that it all nests into each other to make packing easier. I like that the lid has tiny holes to make draining pasta and noodles much easier as well. In my kit I've kept the sponge and spatula but thrown away the tiny bowls and the soup ladle. It was better for me to keep my folding backpacking stove in with the pot rather than carry around the other items that I wouldn't have used.

These small pots are great for quick camping trips or backpacking. When I use them I opt to leave behind the bowls since they are not the best quality and stain easily with certain foods. The pots themselves do clean easily and hold up nicely to heat considering how thin the metal is. I really like this folding handle design which doesn't flex as much in use.

Odoland 9pcs Camping Cookware Non-Stick Lightweight Camping Pots and Pans Set with Plastic Bowls Soup Spoon for Camping, Backpacking, Outdoor Cooking and Picnic (1L Pot + 0.55L Fry Pan) this is a great little set for camping and little park trips, its compact, easy to carry, feels well made and much better than briging my pans or pots from home. I took a star off due to the handle, i used it on a grill so its fine but im not sure how good it will do if used over campfire or when not able to keep the handle away from the flame, still it worked well, was easy to clean, and im looking forward to keep using it. I recommend this little set.

Nice little backpack or travel set. This includes bowls (though they’re a little small). This kit will get the job done in a pinch or for backpacking trips. It is convenient that everything packs down into itself. It also comes with a nice little carrying tote, which is a nice touch!
