This set is super light, compact, and held up better than expected to cooking on a small fire. I got for a backcountry canoe trip, expecting it likely to be a one-trip piece of kit. Not to worry; I intend to use it again this year without issue. This is perfect for one person but would come up too small for a couple to share unless you are both on a starvation diet. Being a girl scout throughtout life as well as growing up on military bases, this was a no brainer for me when we decided to travel at this point in life. These little sets work nicely in an RV for space saving which was a nice suprise when I saw them. I hadn't even thought about it until they came up on the feed. They're a perfect fit for a solo traveler's small meal whether you're backpacking, camping or traveling. The small pots are a nice fit due to being light weight, compact, and easy to travel with. Our family has used this one small set for breakfast, lunch and supper though we did have to use other items alongside. Scrambled eggs, canned soup, mac and cheese, along with a variety of meals needed for a smaller pot, heated some leftovers over the fire too. At this point several months in, they hold up nicely over a small fire *they do have plastic on the handles and lid so you have to watch that because the plastic is not heat resistant. ... show more
