This little system is powerful This little system is powerful

This has been great for gaming. I have noticed spiderman has glitch 3 times but turning off the game and relaunching fixes it. I'm able to play games in 4k, as far as mini PC freezing, I haven't noticed any issues with that. It pretty impressive how the system i got has not overheated once. Here are some things to consider. I had some issues when setting everything up at first. Game's I been playing are spiderman remastered, Miles Morales, God of war and Starship troopers PC. If anything changes, I will update. I do worry with this being a new company but so far I'm enjoying it. 1. manually set the resolution to match their screen (e.g., 1920x1080 for a standard TV or 2560x1440 for a high-end monitor). 2. AMD Radeon APP- For some reason this actually slowed gaming down for me I had to remove it but i kept the chip software installed. 3.check the Hz (Hertz). If the Mini is set to 60Hz but the monitor only does 30Hz, the grid will crash. ... show more

Great option for a versatile, mini gaming PC
Color: 7840HS 32+1T
I am very impressed with the Origimagic A1 mini pc after the first week. My buddy recommended the brand to me so I decided to give them a shot as I was in the market. I was looking for something that was mobile, easy to setup, and could still play games with but wouldn't break the budget. Safe to say it has been worthwhile and I am very happy with my purchase. While I did end up re-imaging the pc myself, I was pleasantly surprised with the provided image. There was basically no bloatware installed, unlike what I have seen with some of the other major brands. I did notice you will most likely have to update windows if you keep the stock image (mine needed updates), but that would be true with almost any PC I got. I found it thoughtful that they provided a tip on the packaging to avoid the Windows update process during setup by waiting to connect ethernet/wifi until after. I decided to play a game of league of legends to test out the performance; Settings defaulted to high, noticed no frame drops during team fights, and this was with a 27' monitor running 144Hz. There was no noticeable noise and it was only slightly warm to the touch after the game. Here is the exact monitor model I have for reference: Manufacturer - LG Ultragear Model - 27GR75Q Specs - 2560 x 1440, 165 Hz, 1ms response time Something that unexpectedly impressed me was the build quality given the price point. As somebody who has been the go-to guy for building and spec'ing out custom PC's in my friend group, I have seen a lot of different parts with vastly different build qualities. I would compare the quality to an OptiPlex model from Dell, just with a lower price point. If you look at Dell's offering, like the Dell OptiPlex 7020 micro, they are charging $720 for some similar hardware. To summarize, if you are looking for a PC that is versatile, packs some punch when gaming, and has a decent price point with a good build quality; This is a perfect choice. I plan to combine this with a portable monitor and mouse/keyboard set to take with me on the road! ... show more

DO NOT BUY
Color: 7840HS 32+1T
DO NOT BUY. This mini PC is trash. After a month of use (right after the return window closed ironically), I started to get constant crashes. I'm not pushing this to the edge either. I'm basically just running a web browser and Bambu Studio. I started to get Windows Blue Screen constantly. Other days it just straight freezes. So I tried to make the best of it. If it can't handle Windows, I thought running Linux would keep it from crashing. I reimaged to Linux. (which 15 year old laptops can run without crashing) I thought surely that would be easier for this mini PC so it could be stable. It's not. The junk crashes on Linux too. Obviously no blue screen anymore, but it freezes several times a day still. I can just have the Brave web browser open and it'll freeze. Bambu Studio will either freeze it or force a full machine restart. I've tried Zorin and Mint. I haven't tried any others, because clearly it's not the OS that's the problem. DO NOT BUY. ... show more

Impressive Performance for the Price, Solid Mini PC Impressive Performance for the Price, Solid Mini PC
Color: 7840HS 32+1T
Review Image by Amy
Bought this mini PC for the value, and the specs are hard to beat for the price, especially with the current promo. Ryzen 7 (7840HS), 32GB RAM, and 1TB storage at this cost is better than most of the more established brands (about $100 less than other established brands). Setup was easy. I did a clean Windows 11 install with no driver issues, and both WiFi and Ethernet connected right away. System has been stable so far with no crashes or glitches (6 hours of run time so far). Performance is solid. It handles everyday tasks like browsing, streaming, and office work without any slowdown, and it can run light games just fine. Build quality feels good. The case is sturdy, and the design is simple and clean. Overall, I would recommend it if you are looking for a mini PC with strong specs. It is a newer brand, so long term reliability is still something to watch, but first impressions are very positive. ... show more

Do your research first...
Color: 7840HS 32+1T
Works well for low-demand programs and games, such as web browsing, streaming videos, etc. However, higher-demand programs, including games and graphics, caused the system to restart. Monitoring the temps, the system never overheated, remaining below 60°C. I tried changing settings in BIOS, which was very easy to do, and none of the settings helped. Additionally, it failed to load Windows on four restarts. Origimagic customer service took over two days to respond to email, and wanted my Amazon order # and serial number before offering assistance. However, I had initiated and packed the computer for return by the time customer support responded to me. I honestly believe I received one of the poor quality-control examples that seems to be fairly common with this brand. A search on the quality of Origimagic Mini PC says it all... ... show more

GREAT...offline.

Great little mini-PC. Fast for the price point. Good graphics for a mini. HOWEVER, the wi-fi card is very cheap and faulty. I have to reset the system 3-4 times a day in order for it to reconnect. Yes, all drivers are updated. It is not my internet nor my router as nothing else in my entire home drops signal. ... show more

Watch the price!
Color: 7840HS 32+1T
Great bang for your buck if you get it for the price I paid for it! This PC is more than enough for everyday use. Very easy to setup just plug a few things in and boot it up. It will probably take about around 1 hour to download system updates. It is very compact and seems to be pretty high quality it’s not some little plastic toy. It has plenty of fast USB ports, more than enough for me. The system even runs some pretty high powered games like Fortnite. I went into the system bios and allocated more RAM to the graphics card for higher powered games to play at full potential. While playing games at full potential be sure to keep the unit clear of surroundings so you don’t block the fans that keep the GPU and the CPU cool. Both the GPU and CPU run at around 75 degrees celsius during heavy gaming and the fan speed and noise of the fan get much louder. I gave the Mini PC 5 stars because it’s a decent mini PC but the only thing I don’t like is how Amazon has been playing games with the price and fluctuating it every few days. I purchased the system at $439 a few days later for Cyber Monday it went down to $429 and then they shot it all the way up to $569. I believe it’s a great value around $430 and would absolutely not buy it for $569. That’s highway robbery and price gouging around the holidays. ... show more

Color: 7840HS 32+1T
This little pc is incedible. I got this thing to put a computer at the tv in the living room. So i could stream stuff and possibly do some light gaming. I downloaded steam and play cod black ops the og cause thats my fav. Game on almost max setting running 1440p just fine and also played some tekken 7 on ultra settings getting 50 to 60 fps. I did have the wifi issues ive heard a few people talk about. But then i ran a ethernet cable and that fixed the issue. I LOVE this little BEAST!!!. I use it make invoices for my job as well. I got a little case for it and now i bring it all over the place jist like a laptop. Also picked up a usbc 14 inch screen and i run it all off this with no other wires to the monitor. I have a few recently built gaming pc's bit with how easy this thing is to just grab and go and it not weigh 60 lbs. I love it!! ... show more
