It works well, and I’ve used it several times over the past year, still going strong. Requires a little cleanup between uses, especially if the root get out of hand. Strong pump. The value is mostly in the custom parts; the lid and sprinkler head is what you’re really paying for. The lid is custom for the 8 collars and the rotary sprinkler head comes with a spare. This is a very simple idea that works great. old school grower and decided to buy to speed up process. It does! 10 days and there ready for planting, for cannabis growers. would recommend buying Clonex Gel for stem cuttings and Clonex Solution for 4 gallons of water in bucket. I already had, but directions call for it. I also needed to use electrical tape at the cord exit at the top cover of the bucket to act like a plug, preventing water from coming out on floor. Took 5 minutes, but after I soaked up a half a quart off my tent floor the next morning:). Now no problems. Don't leave clones in to long, or the roots will entangle together. Definitely a great buy for a home phenom hunter. ... show more

    • No Quality Control it Seems..**Update**
Update 7/29/24: I was able to contact the seller and they are sending a new spray head asap. The grommet was on the cord and was tucked up against the pump- blending in with it. I'm changing my review from 1 to 4 stars for the fast reply and willingness to make it right. With all the included pieces I suspect this octocloner will suit the purpose I need it for. Thanks! ................................. Original review: I'm going to be dead honest. I was planning on just building this myself with an integrated timer as I'm an automation engineer. But the cost of materials was close and I have a plug in wall timer, so I went with this Octocloner to produce more of my favorite plants. I was not happy about the shipping cost but I said it's worth the time I would have spent fabricating this myself so what the heck. Item came in 4 days, and I was stoked to get it set up and going. I chose the plants I would clone and chose cuttings I would cut after getting the octocloner set up. Well I'm glad I didn't make the cuts before opening the cloner. Upon opening I had this wierd vibe that I wasn't the first to open this and I was 100% on. It did not come with a grommet or a sprayer deflector. The sprayer deflector is molded to the sprayer and has to be snapped off like a model car part. I knew this, and immediately noticed that there was no deflector molded to the sprayer. "Ok..its used" I thought, and didn't feel great about that, but I bought this as a convenience for my own time and figured the deflector was in the box or bucket somewhere. Nope! Nonexistent. The deflector and grommet missing makes the sprayer too strong and the whole unit leak like you wouldn't believe.. $75 for that? For a likely used item with missing parts? Did anybody check the item when it was returned the first time for all the parts? Is there a quality control department at all? ... show more

It is exactly what you see: a bucket with a special lid to hold the pucks and a pump with a rotary spray nozzle. The bucket is a bucket and works just like a bucket should. the pump and nozzle work quite well and the pump has a filter. I would strongly suggest rinsing everything out before use (mine had some dust and bits of plastic in it). other than that it works well. ... show more

    • Need to insert diffuser for cheap spray head
It works great but there were literally no instructions to assemble the $2 sprinkler head diffuser plug that is attached. Without it, this sprays the roots too hard & makes it hit or miss. After putting the diffuser on & setting the pH, it kicks butt. The pump warms the water maybe 2 degrees in my location next to the window, so I get roots quick ... show more

There were no directions on how to use or assemble. There is a shipping charge of $18 to send it back, drop off must be to UPS rather than Amazon. No baskets included. You could drill holes in a bucket lid yourself and buy a pump. Save your money and do it yourself.
