Received the product and was excited to try it. Unfortunately it did not work properly. It leaves a section in the middle without ink so I must restamp multiple times to cover the information. I have continued to use this product for a week hoping it would get better, but unfortunately it has not. Back to paper shredding I go. Update 11/2/18 After my review posted, I was contacted by the seller who offered to send me a replacement stamper free of charge. Once I received it and tried it out, I was pleased with the results. It covers as described and is easy to use. I have used it on flyers, political propaganda, pill bottles and magazines with great success.

Good product. I have used for just a few days but so far, so good. It definitely saves a lot of time that used to be spent prying labels off packages, cutting them manually or shredding documents. I didn't give it five stars because occasionally it doesn't stamp consistently, so i have to do it again, and twice it got 'jammed' but was easy to fix. Not perfect but still very much worth the money.

I have purchased 3 of these. The first one was great and lasted about 9 years before I accidentally dropped it and it broke. The 2nd one was good for about a year until the stamp pad somehow shifted and got hung up on the inside of the case each use. Since the first one was so good I did not think too much about it and just bought another. This 3rd one seems to have an issue right out of the box where you only get the full stamp pattern if the ink pad is very soaked. Maybe it's just bad luck but it sure seems like they don't make 'em like they used to.

I've tried several of these security products, and this one is the best. It is faster and easier to use, and does a great job of obscuring personal information. Reversing the ink pad takes only a little effort but is quick and a nice feature to have if replacement ink is not at hand. This is my second purchase so I now have one at two locations in my home.

Purchased 2 of them, both with the same issues or problems. Stamper keeps missing the middle section of the stamp (blocked) area! Similar to other people reviews. At first, I thought the surface of the desk wasn't 100% flat, but no matter where on the desk, counter, table, or any other flat surface I try and use it on, both stampers keep missing sections. Then I thought I could be the ink was a little dry. Added extra ink. That didn't help any. added even more ink, NOPE!!! So in conclusion, you will need to use the stamper multiple times (usually 3 to 5 times) over the same area, moving the stamper in different angles and positions to be able to cover the whole name and address or whatever you're trying to cover. VERY DISAPPOINTED WITH THIS PURCHASE!!!!

My husband- bless him- is paranoid about his name and address being together on our mail. He shreds a big pile of stuff every weekend. Frankly, names and addresses together are available anywhere on the internet, and he should be worried more about internet ID fraud, but if this helps him sleep at night. Anyway, a client of mine had one of these (she, too, suffers from mail ID fraud paranoia) and I realized this was the perfect gift for my husband. I put this is in his Christmas stocking and he said it was the most awesome practical gift ever... that it shows a lot of thought went into it. I thought he was kidding (bc really, it's just a stamp) but he was serious. So, ID-paranoid sufferers... step away from the shredder unite! And finally sleep through the night knowing your ID is safe with the flick of the wrist and a firm stamp.

Either the ink pad or the stamp is off. The middle third of the stamp is left visible, only the outer thirds actually print the disruptor pattern. To fill it in and then to obtain coverage, you end up stamping multiple times. Ink doesn't fully cover, can still read some text through the disruptor pattern because the ink is too thin. Can't recommend. Edit: Just reinked the pads and the problem persists. Cannot recommend.
