    • Be prepared to make adjustments for early generation Ridgelines.
Pros: Price and no core return Cons: Fitment The alternator I received had the mounting bracket bushing sticking way to far out preventing this unit from being installed. I resolved this buy compressing it back in with a C-Clamp. Also, the mounting bolt flanges and bushing were misaligned preventing the bolt from sliding through. I had to remove the case and adjust the alignment. So not really that big of a deal for mechanics but if your a DIYer trying to save a few bucks by doing it your self than be prepared to "make it work" or have a friend thats good at that sort of thing. Im not sure if anything that I did would have voided the warranty. Otherwise, perhaps get one from from the local auto parts store in case you need to return it for another the same day and get your car back on the road. Its been installed for almost a week at the time of this review and it seems to be working fine so far. ... show more
