    • Voltage Fluctuates Horribly
I hate to shell out $500 for an actual GM part, but I have no choice. The voltage put out by this alternator fluctuates below 10.9 volts up to 15+ volts at different RPMs. This part is unusable in my 2010 Acadia and causes it not to run properly, with engine surges.

Very powerful strong alternator. My only complaint is that it wasn’t packaged with any kind of protection to keep the alternator from bouncing around in the box that would possibly damage the electrical device. Fortunately, it works and I am extremely happy.

This alternator was a direct fit and worked fine but it just went out after only 2 years of being in the car. I would expect a quality product to last more than 2 years. I will not be ordering the same one as a replacement.
