Works well but whines. For the price I can't complain, but the whine is a constant annoyance. Replaced this + PS and H20 pump, and every belt/pulley/tensioner at once. This is the only part that makes any noise. 2002 Trans Am

First off it makes a Horrible noise and it gets louder at higher RPMs. 2nd thing is, it does NOT put out enough amperage. My battery is at 12.8 while fans running and it should be 13.5 to 14.5 but anything below 13 volts is a weak alternator. I WOULD ABSOLUTELY LOOK AT OTHERS or you will be like me and disassemble it from the car. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY. ... show more

    • Poor quality. Faulty product.
Had to send the order back. After installing the alternator, I found out it was defective. Received a replacement at no cost, but it only functioned for 3 days and stopped working. Poor quality.
