  • Great little binoculars
Color: Black
I was searching on Amazon for a good pair of binoculars and read the positive reviews for this Occer brand. Ordered it and the delivery arrived yesterday. I tested it out during the day and, so far, I like it. It's worth the cost. Not a heavy item. Easy to use and magnification is crystal clear and decent enough that I can see far-away objects up close. Night vision is reasonable, so-so (if your street is illuminated with a light pole). I have a neighbor who has recently begun this habit of parking her car near my driveway whenever she returns home at night, and I never see her exit the vehicle. She is a tenant that lives 2 houses away from mine. I have owned my house for 25+ years, - wtf is she up to? Her car has lightly tinted windows and she just sits in there, but I can’t help being curious and suspicious. I plan to watch out for her next time I see her this evening and zoom in my binoculars on her! I can’t wait!!! ... show more

  • Great value!
Color: Black
I recently had the pleasure of using the Occer 12x25 Compact Binoculars and was thoroughly impressed with its features and capabilities. The binoculars are incredibly versatile, with the ability to function in low light settings, a large eyepiece that is great for those who wear glasses, and a waterproof design that makes it suitable for outdoor use in all weather conditions. One of the things that I really appreciate about the Occer binoculars is how compact and lightweight they are. They are small enough to fit easily in your pocket or backpack, which makes them great for outdoor activities like hiking, camping, or bird watching. The binoculars come with a carrying case and neck strap, which makes it even more convenient to take them on the go. The 12x magnification and 25mm objective lens provide excellent clarity and sharpness, making it easy to see far-off objects in detail. The binoculars are designed to work well in low light settings, which makes them particularly useful for stargazing or night-time bird watching. I was particularly impressed by how clear and sharp the images were, even in dim lighting. The large eyepiece is another great feature of these binoculars. It makes it easy to use even for people who wear glasses, as it provides a comfortable and spacious viewing experience. The eyepiece is also adjustable, which means you can customize it to fit your individual needs. Another great feature of the Occer binoculars is their waterproof design. I have used these binoculars in the rain and they have held up perfectly fine. It's nice to have the peace of mind that the binoculars won't be damaged if they get wet, which is particularly useful if you plan on using them for outdoor activities like fishing or kayaking. The focus wheel on these binoculars is incredibly smooth and easy to operate. It allows you to adjust the focus quickly and easily, which is great for spotting fast-moving objects or animals. The binoculars are also designed to be durable and long-lasting, which means you won't have to worry about them breaking or malfunctioning after only a few uses. Overall, I would highly recommend the Occer 12x25 Compact Binoculars to anyone who is looking for a reliable and high-quality pair of binoculars for outdoor activities, bird watching, or travel. The binoculars are incredibly versatile, with the ability to function in low light settings, a large eyepiece that is great for those who wear glasses, and a waterproof design that makes it suitable for outdoor use in all weather conditions. • More like a toy
Color: Black
While I like the size of the product and the view is clear and easy to focus, I would say this is more of a toy as the zoom is almost nothing.

  • Lightweight and helpful
Color: Black
Nice and lightweight. Small enough to be added to a carry on or personal item. Worked well for my -7.5 vision and my husband's perfect distance vision. The attached image shows my iphone picture without zoom, and a picture through the binoculars. Will take them hiking this weekend too. Note: There is a strap you can attach for putting them around your neck. I think it can loop through the lens cover too, but it wasn't convenient. We used them without a strap but may figure out something out that would work differently. ... show more

  • Pleasantly Surprised
Color: Black
As others have said, there's no way these are 12x binoculars. I have a set of Meade 7x50, and they appear to have roughly the same magnification to my eyes. That said, these Occer binoculars were far cheaper than the Meade, and are literally half the size and weight. The image quality is nearly as good as the Meade as well, though naturally it's not really a fair fight given the difference in objective diameter. I did notice a hint of chromatic aberration with the Occers, but for the price, it was more than acceptable. The reality is, for as cheap as these binoculars are, there's really nothing negative I can say. If you want higher performance, you can go pick yourself up something from Celestron and expect to add another zero to the price. Will it be better? Absolutely. But do you NEED that level of performance if you're just looking at birds in the backyard, or peeking at distant objects while on a hike? For me these are more than up to the task, and I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to do casual observing in bright daylight conditions. ... show more
