It’s worth the price just to be able to clear codes. Especially helpful when buying a used car. It told me that a car I was looking at has a timing chain that was stretched beyond acceptable limits and would have been at least $2000 to fix and probably a lot more had it eaten the valve train.

    • You should buy from actual site.
This scanner is actually a very good scanner. However it does have some flaws. The biggest being this misrepresentation of it's abilities unless you either get the pro membership for sounds 30 a year or over 100 for the top tier package. If you buy from the store they come with either pro or ultimate, buying on this platform will run right about the same exact price... But you get no membership.. so you pay more and get less. User interface is amazing but just like every any google play store game. Everything... And I mean everything is going to cost you extra. Want to turn that seatbelt chime off.. they got an app for that but it's going to cost you to use it just that one time and that one time ONLY. Anything on there even with a membership is going to cost you extra. I seriously am deeply disappointed in this because of the potential and the way it is turned horrible simply because the creators became money hungry, greedy in selfish.. The top level item will give you unlimited but with a price tag if over $200 for the 1st year then $100 each year after. I haven't seen a company this GREEDY Moderna,Facebook,Pfhiser and J&J. Other than that it's actually a great product. But like a spoiled rich kid with their hand out.... GIMMIE MONEY, GIMMIE. MONEY,GIMMIE MONEY, is there business motto.     • OBDeleven MISLEADING MARKETING - Untrustworthy
I purchased the OBDeleven device from Amazon. I loaded the OBDeleven APP to my phone. I bought credits and the PRO VAG version through the companies OBDeleven APP. The device connected through blue tooth from my car to my cell phone. Then the problems started. The APP could not perform the function the OBDeleven website said it could. On OBDeleven's website they list my 2021 VW Tiguan as a compatible vehicle. I wanted to disable Lane Assist. With this feature you have to upgrade to the PRO VAG version and pay to do so. However, I was unable to use the feature in the OBDeleven APP to disable Lane Assist, even after I paid to upgrade to the Professional version.. I contacted OBDeleven support through email. I asked them for a phone number to contact them. I explained the unit does not function as expected. The app will not code the system in my vehicle. They did not reply with a phone number to contact them. Instead, they replied with this email message that I have copied and pasted into this review: Hello, thank you for your message. Sorry to hear that you are having issues. I can see that you have the newest Tiguan with MIB3 multimedia. We do not know how to deactivate this function for this model yet. Edvinas /OBDeleven I asked them to cancel and delete my account, and to not bill me. They replied with this email message: Could you please fill your application request on our forum for VAG HERE, so our OCA team can create the One-Click App for your vehicle 🚀 We are receiving many requests for more One-Click Apps and are working daily to add more in the future. Let me know if you will have any other questions. Edvinas /OBDeleven I emailed them back, and ask them again to cancel, delete my account and not bill me. They replied to my email with this: Where did you buy the PRO plan from? Edvinas /OBDeleven I have repeatedly ask them to cancel and delete my account, and to not bill my credit card. They have never once replied to that request, they always respond with a question for me from someone named Edvinas /OBDeleven Consumers be careful of this company. This company will take your money and run. I have submitted a fraud alert about them to my credit card company so their payments are being declined. I returned the device to Amazon, and I am spreading the word of caution here. ... show more

I have an MK7 VW Jetta and my ambient lighting was missing a few colors this fixed that. I am going to try some of the other mods soon but that was my primary reason for the purchase.

This thing is really great to have. If you want to buy a used Volkswagen or Aldi don’t get screwed over by cheap car dealerships when you can have this tool and have the upper hand on them. they will literally be shocked when you show up to test drive one of their vehicles with your Volkswagen Audi scan tool. ... show more

Let me start off by saying if you like doing things on your phone and you don't really want to dive very deep into your car than you will be fine with this. I had to replace my old VCDS program because it did not support my wife's Audi. I could have upgraded it but thought I would go cheap with the OBDeleven scan tool, seemed good enough at the time. I thought I had done my homework and saw in a chat where some folks were running it on an old Chromebook. I had one in my garage and thought it would work. Nope and I could not find an Android emulator that would work on Chromebook. It also will not run on a Windows PC I have using an Android emulator. So I have to run the scanner on my iPhone (which I really dislike.)You have to have credits to do much of anything and next to my old program it does not do much, especially long coding. If you just want to do small things and like using a small phone screen or tablet then this will do fine. Not blaming OBDeleven they state what devices it runs on and kinda, maybe, sort of tells you what it does. I contacted support and they were not much help. Looking back I wish I would have put out the extra money for a proven product that runs on Windows and does more. This just has not been a good experience for me. ... show more

It’s easy to read car data compared to other tools. Awesome thing is that you can customize car settings. You need to buy credits to customize or the pro plans need to be subscribed.
