I also had to grind some of the tabs on so it would sit nicely at the top of the tank. I wish these clipped together at 90 degree angles because that would make using them for this much easier. I think these are great. I had a hard time connecting them at first, but once I figured it out, it wasn't really difficult. You may have to double the grids if you're needing it to support weight. They can be cut to size with wire cutters and/or connected to be the size you need. Also, can be attached to suction cups. There seems to be nearly limitless possibilities for what these can be used for. ... show more

The divider is very adaptable as I was able to piece them together and cut some pieces to fit my tank. The problem I had was the holes are too big. I was attempting to keep my Discus fry from being eaten. Much to my surprise, the cardinal tetra were able to swim right thru the holes and ate all my Discus fry. Use these in my 75 gal when I need to net fish so they have less area to outsmart me. Works well. Neons can get through these holes. They are somewhat hard to connect together but once connected stay.

I only received 3 of the 6 items. This is the second time ordering these items. The first time I received a set of 6. They’re smaller than I thought they’d be, not that thick.     • Get what you pay for
These need some adjustment to lock fit. Every one of the dovetail wedges needed trimming with a hobby knife to fit in the dovetail joint of another piece. It's cheap Chinese plastic, but it meets my needs with some tinkering.
