When combined with 6 or 20 DFU air admittance valves, the Oatey Sure-Vent AAV wall boxes are a convenient solution for recessed installations. The high-impact polystyrene construction accommodates 1-1/2" to 2" adapters through the box opening while the textured grille faceplate conceals the AAV, providing a professional looking finish.

Like another review - I only got one of the L shaped brackets, not 2 like in the picture or other laundry boxes I've orderd that contain 2 supports. I created my own in wall vent using these. The mounts it came with is great. You can also screw through the vent box into the wood framing. I put a small 5v fan in the outlet box but it also pulls air wothout the fan

    • Good product but only one mounting bracket
As noted by some other reviewers, the box looks a little cheap. I am certain it will work OK but mine came with only one bracket not the two in the Specifications. Hopefully one is enough to hold it.
