Description

Oakley, a California-based brand, knows what's up when it comes to protection from those harsh UV rays. They're constantly producing quality gear from helmets to goggles and sunglasses, and they're always updating for a more current appeal. They removed the bottom rim on its popular MainLink model to make the ThinkLink Sunglasses more modern. Their Plutonite lenses filter out 100% UVA, UVB, UVC, and blue light rays up to 400nm. High Definition Optics exceed the American National's standards for optical clarity, visual fidelity, and impact resistance. The lightweight yet stress-resistant O Matter frame features Oakley's Three-Point Fit for proper alignment across your face.

  • Awesome glasses for the motorcycle or ??
Size: One Size Color: Thinlink Polished Black W/Black Iridium
Love them. I will call this a preliminary review as I have only had them a short time and will see how they hold up but .. I bought these primarily to fit inside my full face motorcycle helmet but I also wanted them to serve if I just wanted to wear them walking about or driving or .. anything where you would need sunglasses. Function: The slim arms slide easily into place through the opening in my full face helmet. They fit very snugly so that the glasses fit very close to the face and stay there and after some 40 miles of around town riding and looking left and right to change lanes they didn't budge. Being almost frame-less and super light weight you hardly notice that you are wearing glasses. They are not terribly dark and that was my personal preference. I just want to cut the sun but glasses that are very dark "for me" impede me being able to see off in the distance confidently. These were perfect. If you ride you know the further out you can see someone about to do something insane the better. Now the number one reason I bought Oakleys and not a cheaper brand is because I need Clarity. When using glasses under a helmet you are not only looking through the lenses of the glasses but the plastic helmet shield and in my case when I look down I look additionally through a fairing. I had tried Wiley X and a couple of other brands but there was either too much distortion or they were too dark. I was out today and I could very literally see clear as day MILES off into the distance clearly through the glasses and helmet shield. Just awesome. The oakleys lived up to the hype there! I couldnt see any distortion at all when I looked left or right as the lenses seem very clear edge to edge. The lenses were amazing and I would put them just maybe a half a shade under glass lenses in optical clarity. The very best plastic lenses period. Looks and fit: I have a small to medium size face .. or firmly medium. I think the fit is great. They are a touch larger than my rayban wayfarer II that I have been using for years but because they are curved they fit somewhat similarly. Actually .. I think they fit a bit nicer since I have gained a few pounds since I bought the Raybans 20 yrs ago. While the half jackets I had once upon a time might possibly be better sport glasses because of the beefier arms I felt a little silly just walking around with them on. I am not a spec ops commando or an Olympic athlete and while they were awesome when I rode my bicycle I just felt a little silly going to the super market wearing them. The Thinlink's pass off very nicely as walk about glasses. Just a wonderful bonus that they works so well with a helmet. In the end .. the price was great for a pair of oakleys and more importantly performance and looks. I would have thought they were great glasses at $100. ... show more

  • Great Sport Sunglasses!
Made my Dad buy a pair of good sunglasses after he got his cataract surgery. I have wore great brand sunglasses for years because I wear gas permeable contacts. So I know how important good sunglasses in protection & optic quality lenses. These are sporty, light weight, have great optic lens Quality. For someone, who didn't want to pay over $25 dollars for a pair of these sunglasses. My Dad has 4 pair of these, same lens & color. His first pair survived a side by side rollover, His lens was scratched & he know this really protected his eye from damage. He wanted another pair of them & other & other. My Dad while senior is very active outdoors & I don't mind picking up these for him. He's also a fan of road trips & these sunglasses been with him for nearly 4 years from AK to back East. He liked them so much he ordered more so he always them. ... show more

  • Cannot get these anymore
Size: 63/11/136 Color: Black
Absolutely love these sunglasses with the Prizm lenses! I also love the lense shape and black frames. What I don’t like is that I cannot buy these sunglasses anymore. You can get the Prizm lenses, but not the same style and I do not like the current styles. So I am, unfortunately, looking for another brand. ... show more

  • Scratched lenses
I recieved my product in the mail today, opened them out of the box, frames were dusty and the lenses where scratched. Tried to contact the seller but it says to contact manufacture through there website on Amazon. I did that, they said they can't do anything even though the seller on here is the Oakley store. Frustrated I revieved an item that is damaged. Was hard to take pictures of lenses but they're attached. ... show more
