    • Nice Suit Unless You Have Shoulders.

Taking off a star for not including shoulders in the sizing guide. Outside of that, the suit is as expected. Summary: the opening of the suit you have to fit through is not for wide shoulders. You will probably struggle to get this suit over your shoulders if you’re a sticky body type. If you’re not, the suit is awesome. Solid quality, look, and fit. I measured chest, belly, and so on. I fit the specs for the size I ordered. Basically right in the middle of the chest range and slightly above the belly range. The suit is great quality and look, no complaints. I tried it on twice just to be absolutely sure that it wasn’t working out. The issue is my shoulders. They’re too wide for this style. The opening that you have to fit your entire body through is exactly as advertised. Chest zip or chest width. It doesn’t get much bigger so you if your shoulders are broad, the hard part is getting the suit to get up and over your shoulders. I was unsuccessful on my first attempt to get it all the way on. I was worried I’d rip the suit or something. But like I said, I like the look and feel of the suit. So I tried a second time. I got it all the way on. It fit fine. A little snug but seemed like the next size would be too big. I’m only returning it because it’s difficult to get on and off (really difficult) and I’m worried that over time something will rip from the amount of stress I put on the seams and material getting it on. Just thought I’d share. I’m a little bummed I have to pay $7 for return shipping. But I guess that’s the way it goes ordering things from certain sellers. ... show more

I think this is a high quality product. The problem is that I was not able to get it on or off myself, and was extremely difficult even with help. I'm 5'11 and 165 pounds with fairly narrow shoulders, so not the same issue as other people with broad shoulders. The problem I had is that I have very long arms, especially my upper arms. I simply could not get my elbow into the opening. With help and stretching it to the point of almost tearing, I did get it on once and the suit was very comfortable. Then almost didn't get it back off even with help! I'm disappointed that I couldn't keep it. ... show more

This is my second O'Neill wetsuit, My old one is the same size and fits perfect. The cut is defective on this one. The armpits are much too high, it cuts in , and like other reviews leaves no room for your shoulders. There's obviously something wrong with this model and the manufacturer should pull theses. Hoping I can find another O'Neill but different model that isn't defective. ... show more

I got a good price during black Friday and am happy with the wetsuit. But like others have said, the opening is tight. First time putting it in some stitching in the neck tore. It wasn't really a critical piece so Im not returning it. Once on, the suit is comfortable and warm. Surfed socal in December and never felt the water. Not easy to get out of though.
