This O'Neill Hyperfreak 3/2+mm Chest Zip Full Wetsuit is designed for surfing enthusiasts, available in a stylish black/grey/red color scheme. It is made from high-quality Neoprene material, featuring a minimal seam design and recycled Oyster Shells and Eco Carbon Black Infused Neoprene for added durability. The wetsuit has a F.U.Z.E. Closure with a 360 degree Barrier and Drain Holes, ensuring a comfortable and secure fit. The arms and shoulders are made from TechnoButter 3X for added flexibility, while the full body and legs feature TechnoButter 3 for extra warmth. I bought this as an upgrade to my Epic 2 wetsuit that I use for caving here in Indiana. It has really great flexibility which for caving is one of the most important things. It's also good on warmth, our water here depending on the systems flow above and below ground can be as low as the 30s but mostly between 45-55⁰ Im pretty cold natured, and I still wear wool thermals and a cave suit over this for not only warmth, but to protect the suit. Only downside, like every wetsuit for the caving world is they're fragile. One good snag is all it takes to tear it. Luckily both of my suits still after YEARS of use are in great shape. If you have the money to splurge for a fancy cave wetsuit, I'd suggest this one for sure! ... show more

After years of using Patagucci suits and seeing the quality go downhill I switched to this bad boy. I think it's the best suit ever. Easy to get on and off, flexible and I have yet to get chilly (Baja Norte). Still have a Patagucci as my 4/3 but will keep getting O'Neils for the foreseeable future.

Chest zipper retaining tab broke but that's the only complaint. I've been rocking this thing for over 2 years and it's showing wear but still totally functional. All I've done was rinse it at the beach and air dry on a fence. Seriously still warm and stretchy and I wear it like 5 days a week. I'm 6'1" 225 wide shoulders and barrel chested. ... show more

After wearing wetsuits for 30 years and trying all surfing brands I find myself back with O'Neil in this awesome suit. It's so warm and yet so light and flexible. That techno butter neoprene is something else. It just slides on and off! Dries quickly and seals perfectly. Been using it in Southern CA water and it's perfect for those colder days. There is no better suit in terms of comfortability, nowhere near as durable as yamamoto neoprene. Pick your battles. I choose to not struggle getting in and snd out of wetsuits and being the most comfortable doing wind/water sports.

I had no idea how restrictive my 4/3 bottom of the line suit really was until I decided to splurge and get this thing. I'm so glad I did. It's just as warm as my 4/3 but feels like my 2 mm short sleeve full. The stretchiness is real and enhances your paddling ability. I'm not half as tired when I make it outside as I used to be. Sure it’s really expensive but if you live part-time in a wetsuit you will appreciate its flexibility, warmth and longevity… As other reviewers have mentioned, I ordered one size larger than usual. Very high quality! Easy on and off because it’s so stretchy and soft. Water never really gets inside. Super warm. I’m 5’9” 155 pounds and Small fits well because of stretching. Originally purchased the long sleeved spring suit first and was so satisfied I got the full for older conditions.
