If you are like me and have bought two Corsair Commander Cores and a USB 3.2 Gen 2 to USB 3.2 Gen 1 header adapter with only two USB slots on your motherboard, this will be a product that you will most definitely need. Do not be like me and think that you can use a simple pigtail adapter to make all your components work properly because it will not work! I was very disappointed when I could not control half of my fans and cooler in the iCue because they were not recognized! Order this beforehand so you can a clean build and install. JUST MAKE SURE YOU CONNECT THE "MB" slot to the MOBO! (otherwise you will get USB Over current warning and it won't boot PC). Also make sure you connect to SATA power. This thing is very nice - 3 more internal USB2.0 connections (RGB, fans, etc) Magnetic and it has mounting strips if you need those.     • Straightforward solution to needing more USB headers
It works, and it's a reasonably clean solution to wanting more USB ports built into your computer, instead of using an external hub. It has internal magnets so it'll stick to many surfaces in a steel computer case. It also comes with a couple of velcro strips if you want to mount it to something non magnetic. It has 1 input header and 4 output headers. All the connectors are standard USB 2.0 internal 10 pin header connectors. All 5 connectors come with plastic protectors, which you probably want to leave on any headers you don't use. You connect the included USB header-to-header cable from your motherboard to the input connector. The included USB internal cable is of moderate length. It's comfortable if you plan to put this within about 6" of the header. It's not going to reach all the way across the back of your motherboard. It needs a SATA power connector, and comes with a short SATA power extension cable. You can connect it directly to a SATA power cable if you want, but it's likely you'll want to mount this somewhere other than your internal drive bays - ergo, somewhere your power cable probably isn't going. ... show more

    • Works as advertised, looks nice, good support, but may cause USB issues with certain boards.
I bought this as my board did not have enough USB plug-ins for the Corsair LED RGB, and H100I Platinum cooler. It was packaged nicely, looks nice, and wasn't too bad installing. The support was amazing as well, as stated below. ISSUES: It does work but for me also causes USB issues. Every Windows startup, I hear the inevitable USB plug-in sound (EVERY startup/log-in). It also at times (Luckily not often enough to not use it, and seems to be after messing with the BIOS) has caused my motherboard to boot without the keyboard and mouse working, and I have to do a force-shutdown (Hold the power button/hit the reset switch). Now, these may be specific to me and my motherboard (And even down to my processor, etc.) as there are so many variables to a computer, it is hard to reach compatibility for every person. Most would give a lesser rating, but support did try sending me another. I found online that my Ryzen 7 1700 may be the issue as well. Make sure to just do your research. ... show more

Great little hub when you run out of room or spaces for your USB goodies. Kinda would've preferred this didn't need to be powered by SATA but, other than that, this worked out great for my build.

About time someone made a well made unit that is not just a circuit board screwed to the case with some pins hanging out of it. Still do not see why they don’t put 3-4 of these on anyATX MB, helps so much as I used all the ports
