The quality of the boom arm itself is exceptional, but the pivots and hinges that allow you to move the boom arm around do not work whatsoever. I’ll put it in a certain position and tighten the small knobs on the right side, but it refuses to stay in place. Quality and material is just what I expected from NZXT, wish the channel on the backside was a little bigger to fit an XLR cord, clearly designed for USB mics. Like I said in my headline be mindful of which way are supposed to bend the arm. I did it the wrong way and heard a loud pop sound. Luckily I don't I broke anything but scared me, straight out of box.. Each locking point comes pre tightened too so before you bend, release them then bend and start adjusting. ... show more

Was pretty disappointed with the quality of the boom arm. I was expecting it to be just as easy to position as people that have reviewed the product but the tension is too tight to even work with. No matter how tight the knobs were the arm would not stay put. The manual didn’t help much with troubleshooting this issue either. I wish this would’ve worked out, but I’m sad to say I wouldn’t recommend this boom arm to anyone ... show more

If you own a Shure MV7, this NZXT Boom Arm works and looks great with it. I didn't need to make any major adjustments to the knobs. Also I really like the cable channel, where I could easily tuck in the mic cable to keep a pretty clean esthetic.

Bought this for use with my capsule mini which attached perfectly fine to it using the adapter included with the mini. However, while adjusting it a day or two later with the tension dials, the middle dial just snapped clean off from the arm. It's still functional at the top pivot and bottom pivot, but it's locked on whatever setting it broke on. While this can probably be fixed with hot glue or krazy glue or some adhesive, I expected higher quality to at least not break within a few days. Again, it's still functional (mostly) but if you're looking to get a long time use without having to fix it yourself, might wanna look elsewhere. ... show more
