Our 2 cents below: Pros: - It works as a great combo for eyebrows. Micro-pencil & spoolie together is a complete package - Pencil color is nice and gives a great touch to the eyebrows. It precisely does the job with eyebrow - Brush (spoolie) as backside works perfectly too - Great quality product Cons: - Not very reasonably priced & can't say it is worth it in this competitive market

As a “prestige” brand make-up user, I decided to try the NYX Micro-Brow pencil since IT discontinued the skinny brow pencil in Auburn. The NYX Rich Auburn is a PERFECT match for my auburn hair! Many times an auburn color is too light, but not this one! Because it is a skinny pencil, it is easier to apply with little hair-like strokes and looks more natural. I begin by applying brow gel so my brows stay in place and it is easier to see where I need to apply color. I find that applying my brow gel first helps to alleviate the pencil from smudging and helps me to apply only what is needed. Although it is not necessary, I do go over the pencil with my brow powder. I get 12+ hours of natural, looking brows that look as fresh at 5:00 pm as they did at 5:00 am. This brow pencil exceeds this “prestige” brand make-up user’s expectations. I will buy multiples of this one.

I got this in "blonde" and couldn't be happier. The brush puts my brow in a good place for me to trace with the smooth color. I love this eyebrow pencil! I love that it does thin pencil strokes to look more natural, has the twist function to get more product vs having to sharpen it, and isn't too dark if you don't push hard. The brush end helps correct any spots that are too dark or uneven with the other side and helps fade the inside part of my brow so it's not such a hard line (I like a more natural look - personal preference). I outline the shape I want and then fill it in with light strokes. Be sure to pay attention to which cap you put on which end: the pencil end cap is longer than the brush end cap - the brush cap will smush the pencil end off if you accidentally use the wrong cap, which wastes product and makes it run out faster. Mine has lasted 4 months and is still going. I will definitely buy it again!

This brow pencil is sturdy. I added a bit of pressure while using it and the tip didn't break. I like that a lot! The only complaint I have is the color I chose was cappuccino and it doesn't look as dark as it should. To me it had red tones to it. But I can work with it.

The gray color is not only for those with gray hair, but is simply a softer “black.” I’d call it charcoal. This color is what I need to avoid the warmth that comes with most browns, yet not too stark as with black. The gray color is best for cool-toned skin and darker hair. Two criticisms: It breaks easily when applying, and doesn’t last long (must reapply). That’s a shame b/c it’s not easy to find this color.
