What a rare find these days! I wanted a retractable eyeliner that I didn't need to sharpen in an olive green to match my eye color, and that is what I got. It goes on very smoothly and stays put until I wash my face at night, which is amazing due to how often I need to deal with my hard contact lenses due to severe dry eye (think lots of lid pulling and saline and gel drops everwhere). Added bonus that it doesn't cause any eye or lid irritation between having said dry eye and a history of eczema. My only minor complaint is the green shade appears matte to me, but I just top it with a discontinued shimmer liner for now. Please don't discontinue these! Love, love, love! ... show more

Pros: Closest thing I’ve found to MAC’s technikohl eyeliner in “Uniform,” a dark khaki/army green with gold shimmery flecks. I loved it and would’ve bought every one of them in 100 mile radius before it was discontinued, had I known. This isn’t an exact match, but it’s pretty similar in color and makes my blue-green eyes pop. Cons: It’s nearly impossible to open. I almost returned it when I couldn’t get it out of the plastic sleeve. They need some perforation to tear or something. No cardboard back, just tightly wrapped plastic that took scissors and tweezers to remove. Frustrating. ... show more

The color is beautiful--a shiny dark olive green. It stays on my eyelids forever, so be aware that you will need to use heavy-duty make-up remover to get the eyeliner off. Tip snapped off the minute I opened the pencil but there was enough left to use. Not sure I'd buy it again, though.
