These jeans are OK. I ordered a waist size of 30 inches as I usually wear a 29 or 30. These were very tight even through they should have fit well. So order about two inches more than your regular waist size as these run small. The design of the wide legs is nice as they are very wide indeed. The materiel is soft and easy to care for. I did not find any defects in the workmanship, or quality, of these jeans. I will say that if I had tried these on before I ordered them I would not have ordered them. I have already given them away.

The media could not be loaded. I am super annoyed here. Why even post a size chart if your sizing doesn't even begin to approach what's listed? I am completely flabbergasted by this. How can a clothing company so well known be so inept at sizing? And how many bad reviews do they need before they correct this widespread problem for their customers? I measured myself carefully for these, and the pants that arrived are an absolute JOKE. I was worried about ordering from this company, because they seem to have significant issues with sizing. On all of their listings that I found, people constantly say the items are multiple sizes larger than their size chart suggests. I have 52" hips, and am 5'5, 230lbs. I ordered a size 36, which was a size down from what the size chart recommended. I thought.. these look so cute! I'll take a shot on these even though I was super worried they'd be huge when they arrived based on the brand's reviews. Turns out, I should have ordered at least 2, possibly 3 sizes down. I cannot comprehend how these jeans will fit literally anyone. These jeans are straight up denim nonsense. I look like I stole a pair of big & tall men's jeans from somewhere. I can't even begin to walk in them, and they are the least flattering things I've ever attempted to put on. First of all, the length is just... absurd. I mean, sure, shorter people can get them hemmed, but.. who really has any interest in doing that? If the length were the only problem with these, I would consider it because the denim is such nice quality. However, the length is just one issue in a sea of issues here. I would probably need to size down three more sizes in order to even have a shot at these fitting. I wouldn't recommend that anyone buy these outright- do the "try before you buy" and order at LEAST 2-3 sizes smaller. Also, unless you are like, 6+ft tall, these will need to be hemmed, so keep that in mind. The only good thing about these is that the denim is just LOVELY. It's so soft while also feeling thick enough that they will last longer than other super soft denims I've had. I am so sad these don't fit, because the feel of the denim is just so appealing. Overall, I'm just... really annoyed. It's 2024, we know how to size clothing. Consumers should be able to trust a size chart, this isn't rocket science. Unpredictable sizing seems to be a widespread problem with this brand, and I certainly will not waste my time and money purchasing anything from this brand again.

I purchased the right size based on the measurements, but they looked too big for me. So I washed them and ran them through the dryer and they shrunk just a teensy bit, just enough to make them fit perfectly. They are indeed softer than regular denim and I would recommend buying your normal size, because even if they shrink after washing, you'll want these pants to feel comfortable, especially if you're going to be sitting for extended periods. The material is pure cotton and it may require ironing/steaming if you absolutely want a more polished look, but as casual wear it's fine without the extra effort (pants are not ironed in the pictures, just ran through the dryer and folded). Also keep in mind that underwear in a contrasting color might show through the fabric, so it's better to wear something close to your skin tone.

If you are looking for mid rise as described “ Mid rise jeans with a relaxed straight leg and 5-pocket styling”, these are HIGH rise. As I hate high rise, they will be returned. They do not match the pictures that show them sitting below the belly button. And I gave them 2 stars for waisting my time and energy on a false description. In order to get a mid rise, you would need to size up, and except a crotch that was almost at knee level, and very saggy fit for your butt. Not a good look, you would be swimming in them. Not to mention, you would most likely need to take them up at least 3 inches. For an almost $70 pant- none of that is worth it. 100% pass if you are looking for mid rise. If you love high rise, you will love these. They are quality piece, with a heavy weight, nice fabric, that drapes and hang very nicely. 5 stars is that category.

I ordered a size 30 and it fit me perfectly (which is hard to do online!). I have about a 30-32 inch waist with hips that are around 44 inch and they fit over my hips and with no gaps in the waist. The fabric is very light weight, almost like a denim and linen mix material. They are very long so perfect for the tall girlies.
