After my dog wore this collar for 7 days the nylon had rubbed 3/4 of the way through where it came in contact with one of the metal pieces. Sent it in for a return and received an email confirming the package has been scanned and refund issued. Unfortunately the email also said if the item is not received in New unused condition I will be charged again. When filling out the claim to return there was nothing that indicated it had to be new and I assumed a dog collar that didn't last a week would qualify for a return. We will see if I get charged for it again but I highly recommend looking somewhere else for a martingale collar. This one has no reinforced stitching along it and will wear through very easily. My 18 lb dog simply wore the collar, it was not loose enough to chew on and we haven't even attached a leash to it. No reason it should fall apart after 7 days.
