Bought this last year. Great product for audio systems. Worked very well on a 2019 Gmc Acadia. After the year my bass knob wire got cut. I contacted nvx to see if the sold it separately. Which they dont but they hooked me up with one. Thanks guys really appreciate what you are doing for me.

Description is misleading. There is no signal sensing trigger on the 2 channel unit. The listing for this item repeats numerous times it has this capability. Only after installing the unit did I make this realization so a big waste of time wiring and mounting it in my vehicle for it to be useless for my purpose. After consulting the instruction manual, which is actually pretty good, they list the capabilities of each unit. It lists the two channel unit as not having speaker input turn on. NVX should do a better job of making this info available on the listing so other customers aren’t confused and duped into buying something that doesn’t function as advertised. Also, I would add this does not come with a bass level control knob. Not a big deal for me as it is not why I bought the item. Some reviews state they did receive one though, and I am sure it would be a nice added value had that been the case. ... show more

Definitely helps if you’re on a budget and want to add a sub to your car. While this doesn’t solve your issue of bass restoration, this does at least pump out more voltage from your speakers than a passive LOC. This does give you a remote out signal too. It’s not bad, especially if you get it on sale. Installation is straight forward as well. Do wish the can thrown in the remote for this to make it a 5 star ... show more

Do yourself A favor and do not mess around with anything other than a true line output converter. I’ve looked into some serious high-end equipment and this is by far the best Bank for the buck is to hook up easy to dial in and adjust. There is a specialty tool that I used to be able to reach a few of the switches as the supplied flathead screwdriver would not reach into the slot to adjust a couple things however, a sharp pick will suffice. I highly recommend that you obtain a ferrule crimping solution for easy hook up and best quality. The unit is so lightweight that instead of screwing it to the chassis, which I recommend you do not do. I just used self adhesive Velcro and stuck into the carpet with all the wires going under the carpet. It is very secure and should never move. It’s been about a year since I first tried this company‘s amplifier and now recommend it as it is a up-and-coming company. ... show more

    • This solved my alternator hum!!!

So if you are like me and have a newer vehicle and are frustrated chasing down and alternator hum in your audio system this could be the fix. I had been using a kicker passive LOC due to its high praise on YouTube for audio quality. Unfortunately for me it left me with an annoying alternator hum that I could not get rid no matter what I did and I spent weeks rerouting speaker and ground wires, returning & replacing loc's, returning and exchanging amp, buying multiple ground loop isolators. This LOC has a ISO ground option which they recommend to use when your head unit and your amplifier are not grounded to the same location. I wish they would advertise this feature as I think this would solve a lot of people's headaches trying to find a solution. Other than that I do have to mention that I had to return the first unit I received as it would not turn off even if a remote wire was not plugged in meaning there was some sort of internal short. The second unit I got worked flawlessly although I will say both units had their speaker terminal screws in super tight. I literally broke the screwdriver they provided trying to untighten them. Other than that it does what it's supposed to and I am extremely happy with the results. ... show more

As you can see fit and finish is not good. I was hoping this would be able to help out my bass with the base boost button but it’s not not that much over my kicker loc 2. So I went back and reinstalled my kicker loc 2. So as you can see in the photo but the gain adjustment button does not align with the whole and all the slide button are pushed in so you can slide over the adjustment unless I got a defective one. The screws were so tight I had to use pliers on the small drew driver they supply to try to break loose the screws. The plastic on the screwdriver they supplied broke. Now don’t get me wrong it did work but I couldn’t get the clip button to light up even bottoming out my sub. The seller shipped it right away so no issues you there but quality is not good on the product ... show more
