I used these 2 speakers to upgrade the rear speakers in my Toyota Camry. I wanted a lot of volume capacity and the ability to really push the speakers without distortion. I got them screaming on a Skar RP-150.4AB | 1,000 Watt 4-Channel amplifier running the high pass filter at around 60 Hz since the Frequency Response is 58 - 20000 Hz on these speakers. I've got them wired to have running 150 watts RMS to them and I really happy with the quality and sound. Really good value for the price if you want a high powered mid/high 6/9 speaker that can take a lot of power and throw the sound. I had a set of MB Quart components that were too big for the speaker cutout in my doors so I had to swap the woofer out with this one. i have them hooked up to an alpine 4 chan amp and i was really surprised at how good they sounded. they can take the power and still deliver clear crisp sound. not a high end speaker but great for everyday use. for coaxial speakers they are good to go. ... show more

Bought these and the amplifier for an external speaker project for my HF radio. Worked out great, much better than I could have hoped. Installed them in some 4" PVC tubes I cut, caps on the back with speaker quick connects and speakers in the front, like the old Bazookas.

I had Polk Audio reference 3.5" in the dash of my 2011 Ram 2500. I ran them too hard for too long and fried the voice coils. Did some research and saw these. Installed with 300hz bass blockers and LOVE them.
