I have an HP computer and added the ram to increase it from 8 gb to 16gb. It's an older PC and so it needed older ram for compatibility. This ram is not cheap, but the price was fair. It was delivered and shipped in enough padding to make sure the ram was not damaged. I am hoping to replace my rig in the future, but am happy to be running on 16gb of ram. ... show more

I was able to install it in my 10+ year old Dell XPS. However, I got a blue screen after installing it. This is most likely due to a fault of the proprietary Dell motherboard and no fault of the ram. I reset the CMOS battery and upgraded to Windows 11(Rufus method, Google it!) and the blue screen error is gone! In Windows, the RAM part numbers show a Samsung part number ( M378B1G73AH0 ), so this is most likely just refurbished or old stock of DDR3 RAM. ... show more

These might be good before they're shipped, but they arrived in an Amazon bubble envelope in a thin pink ESD bag with a sleeve for each module. Computer boot looped, didn't troubleshoot which one was bad, just returned and got the similar-priced competitor on here and they work just fine.
