I've been taking this Nutricost Magnesium + Ashwagandha supplement for a few weeks now, and it has become a staple in my daily routine. This is a pretty decent combination of 210mg of Magnesium and 1,200mg of Ashwagandha per serving feels perfectly balanced for supporting relaxation and stress management. I take the recommended four capsules per day, usually with a meal, and have noticed a real difference in my ability to unwind in the evenings and my overall sense of calm during busy days. The fact that this is a vegan formula was also a big plus for me. The value is outstanding. Wow very surprised. I bought it on my sister's recommendation. Since I am in a post-surgical knee arthroscopy (multiple procedure) and at night I have been very uncomfortable due to discomfort and pain (sometimes cramps from having a straight foot) and the truth has worked very well for me, since I did not want to take so much painkiller. Genius idea to put these two ingredients together. Magnesium is an essential nutrient, and ashwagandha has countless benefits for general health. For me, with this particular supplement, I have noticed an increase in sleep quality overall, and waking seems easier. Overall I'd say it's worth trying, and a good buy for the money.

I love this combination of ingredients: Magnesium and Ashwagandha. It's a super duo that is perfect for relaxing, and de-stressing. Both are great on their own, and just superb when you put them together. Each bottle contains 60 servings, each having 210mg of Magnesium along with 1200mg of Ashwagandha. It bears mentioning that the Magnesium in this formula is Bisglycinate, and very high form of the mineral, and very effective. My one caveat with this product is that in my view 210mg is just simply not enough Magnesium. I prefer 800mg, plus. Though this is high quality Magnesium, I wish it were higher potency.

For supplement products, due to the fact that they are so unregulated in the US, I always like to check for a few things like is there any information about where it was manufactured, any information about 3rd party testing and how many capsules, scoops or servings per recommended daily dose to translate to a total number of doses instead of just overall count. This is a pretty well known brand and the product is made in the US and states that it is 3rd party tested. Unfortunately there isn’t much additional information about 3rd party testing in a detailed certificate of analysis for quantities of the stated ingredients at this time which is pretty common. Some companies occasionally post it but it is unfortunately rare for most of them. The product recommended serving size is 4 caps which gives 60 doses. I got this product at the $15 price level. Honestly though 4 capsules feels like quite a lot. Also in terms of dosage, that is 1200mg of Ashwagandha which seems like a little more than the usual dose so it seems very reasonable to cut down to 2 capsules or something like that. That said, the daily recommended value of magnesium is around 400mg and so this supplement at full dose is only half that. If you reduce the total dose to 2 you get even less. So even though this lists it as a Magnesium + Ashwagandha supplement it is really more Ashwagandha first and a little magnesium on the side. So this seems like a good Ashwagandha supplement but maybe less of an optimal choice for a magnesium supplement. Framed that way, it does seem like a good value. I haven’t noticed any specific effects from it yet but will keep testing.

I love getting these two supplements in one. I can't vouch for them on a biochemical level, but I already took both of these supplements, so having them combined in one easy-to-take capsule is very convenient for me. The flavor isn't bad, granted, your goal is to swallow it quickly, not eat it, so your mileage may vary. They go down easy though, and with water you shouldn't feel like these are problematic at all. Overall, these are easy to take, convenient, and hopefully effective. I'll give them an A.
