This is a great oven, especially for the price. I ordered one for my second home and enjoyed it there so much that I ordered another for my primary home! This unit is a great value, costing $100s less than the name brand ovens. It is definitely a step up from the cheap no-name knockoffs though. This has an L-shaped burner rather than just a burner at very the back. This reduces the the need for constant turning, cooks more evenly, and it gets very hot (850 degrees+). I've made many Neapolitan pizzas in these ovens so far, and every one has turned out either perfect or near-perfect. Do your homework beforehand about how to cook these pizzas and the learning curve is much faster/easier. NOTE- this review is for the oven without the rotating stone. I prefer the larger cooking surface and ease of cleaning with this type vs the spinner. Also note- the cookbook that came with mine is largely useless for making Neapolitan pizzas with this oven. It is more suited to making normal pizzas in your indoor home oven. There's some great recipes in there, just not suited for this oven in my opinion. My cooking method is this, and it works perfectly for me: Heat the oven on high, up to a half hour until it is about 800 degrees center stone. Launch pizza and immediately turn the gas to low. Turn the pizza 3 times to cook evenly. Turns out perfect about every time! Also don't forget to use/make the correct dough, and use adequate semolina flour for the peel and prep surface of the pizza so it slides and launches smoothly.

Husband loves to cook pizza and was looking into having a pizza oven built outside - found this and it means we now don’t have too! It very easily connects to the gas tank we already have outside for our built in Grill and we simply place this on our outdoor countertop when needed (although could happily live outside weather depending). It has a temperature control dial so after a few attempts he’s found his desired level depending on the type and thickness of the dough he’s using and it really does cook the pizza in only 60 seconds (but would recommend to follow direction of giving it at least 15mins to fully heat up before putting in your first pizza). One of his fav features is that you can turn the pizza without having to take it out by simply using the handle which turns the pizza base plate around, ensuring you can easily look at how your pizza is progressing and adjust accordingly. It has legs that bend up under it so could easily be transported to be used on camping trips etc or just for easier storage. It’s very sturdy and good build quality. He loves that it comes with a pizza stone as well as a large pizza spatula for easy removal of the pizza once cooked. We’ve found it makes our thin crust pizzas nice and crispy on the bottom as well as fully cooked on top and it’s become quite a dinner party focal point so we’d def recommend.

This pizza oven is so much fun to use and the pizza is so delicious cooked this way! Pizza is a staple in my house, I really enjoy making it and coming up with new recipes to try. With outdoor pizza ovens becoming more popular, I finally decided that I needed one for myself. I chose propane over wood because of the ease of use and ability to better control the temperature. This oven sets up so easily, it is no more difficult than using my grill. It’s a nice addition to my outdoor summer kitchen that helps keep me from having to run my oven. My tips for use… do let the pizza oven preheat for about 15 minutes before putting in the first pie. I got a bit overexcited and used it too fast the first time so the cheese didn’t melt as well, haha. Once I learned that initial patience, cooking the rest was super quick. I recommend preparing the pizzas like an assembly line because cooking goes quick. I let the kids dress up their own and lined everyones’ pizzas up on large paper plates, ready to go in. It just made the process super efficient. It was a lot of fun to share and try all the different pizza creations. The oven comes with a peel for easy transfers in and out of the oven and a roller for cutting. I like the hand crank for rotating the pizza to help get a uniform bake. It really worked great! I love the wood-fired flavor that this pizza oven gives my pizza. I’m going to use this a lot and enjoy experimenting with it. When I’m not using it, it comes with a nice cover to protect it. The legs also fold up for storage.

If you use a 1lb bottle instead of a larger tank make sure it stands upright not horizontal. Liquid propane will flow thru the regular and cause it to freeze and choke off gas flow. The external cover still gets plenty hot enough to cause serious burns if you forget and touch it. I Use a gas sniffer tool to check for gas leaks. I don't stick the face up close to the front opening when lighting so I don't get a blast of hot air in your face. Initial start has to be done with a long neck lighter or the included match holder because it won't start a cold oven by the built-in knob controlled sparker . Hot oven easier to start by the knob controlled sparker . It has uneven baking even using the rotation platter, its better at roasting then baking. You have to check it constantly because it will singe the edges at the 2 sides closest to the flame ,easy to ruin a meal. To keep from setting the pizza on fire because it's so close to the flame i have to turn the gas off completely before trying to remove the pizza.
