I had bought another brand of induction cooktop and found it very difficult to use. I struggled to cook rice as the burner was either not hot enough or too hot. Also it was so noisy and I wondered if all the induction burners were this noisy?? I returned it and bought this one . This is a very nice cooktop and the temperature ranges are much more suitable for cooking as I have no problems and I've been used to a gas stove for years! It's pretty quiet and very easy to keep clean. Not to mention the reports about how gas stoves really aren't that great for our health! Also if I'm cooking something that might stink up my apartment I can take my cooktop outside! Can't do that with my gas stove!

Been using this for the past year as my primary cooking surface. It operates as expected with few hiccups. Pros: Typical electric range stuff— induction is FAST, heat is even but centered on the direct point of contact, meaning it doesn’t distribute up the sides of pans very much. Pans need to be ferrous. Controls make sense, easy to use. Glass surface is very easy to keep clean. I think it looks pretty good. Cons: Heat control is in somewhat large increments, so no fine tuning. Overall limitation to the amount of heat that can be produced and maintained: you’ve got about 700 degrees to play with across the entire surface at any one time. So working on two high temp things at once is a no-go. It can overheat eventually, when boiling a large pot of water for example, at which point that side of the surface will shut off. Maybe my biggest gripe? No power switch!! I’m constantly plugging and unplugging this thing which is fairly annoying for a kitchen appliance Overall, this works well enough for what it needs to do, it’s a substantial improvement over a traditional hot plate and I’ve gotten a ton of good meals out of mine over a year of consistent use.

Versatile 2 burner cooktop, bought this to use with induction cookware and to get away from gas. Easy to use, easy to cook with two pots. The burners are far enough away that you have plenty of room and you're not crowded. Heat's super fast and lots of functionality to customize your cooking. Also love the timer which is a nice function and I also love that it turns off when you remove the cookware. Unlike a gas or electricity which would stay on forever and eventually either burn down the house or catch on fire. Induction is way better and safer. I bought a used model just to see how this would work and I am totally in love with it . .time to disconnect the gas line.

We purchased this on the 5th of February, 2021. For the most part, we've been very impressed with its performance. It looks nice. It's easy to clean. However, on the 20th of March, 2021, we attempted to heat the device up and the fan made a horrible grinding noise. When I turned the device over, I found that the base had been melted on the side I was attempting to heat up. This was the side we used most primarily, but at no point should any electronic melt itself. I contacted Amazon, who gave me outdated contact information for Nutrichef. When pressed, they provided updated contact information, so I submitted a warranty service request. Nutrichef is owned by Pyle. If you know Pyle, you're aware of their reputation. I did not know this when I purchased the cooktop. I contacted Pyle, they suggested that I contact Amazon for a return, which obviously isn't possible because we were 16 days out of the return policy. Pyle reluctantly suggested that I ship the cooktop to them for repair at my cost. The warranty form provided by Pyle requires a credit card number in order to charge you for return shipping and any incident non-warranty costs up to $60. EFFECTIVELY, IT IS LESS EXPENSIVE TO PURCHASE THE SAME COOKTOP AGAIN. Which we will not be doing, since the first proved to be a FIRE HAZARD. The warranty is worthless. This cooktop is dangerous. I cannot recommend that you buy it, despite the otherwise stellar reviews on Amazon. I recommend dealing with a more reputable company than Pyle.

So we bought this to setup in a temporary kitchen while a real kitchen is being built. I have never used an induction stove before, but I really love it. The locking ability is super great because we have a special needs child who doesn't understand hot things. It boils a kettle of water so so fast! We do have the silicon mats on top to protect the glass a little bit, I recommend them. But we use it every day for all of our cooking and water heating because we have no hot water here. It works like a charm. Largest thing I have cooked is a huge pot of chili, and it handled the large stock pot fine.
