I wanted a smaller blender than my huge Vitamix to make it easier to pull out and use when blending smaller amounts. I bought this refurbished (they use the term "renewed") Nutribullet and it appeared brand new. Runs perfectly; no issues so far. Also, this is a powerful little blender. (It is super loud, though; not sure why the marketing says it is "quieter" than previous models.) It does a great job even with ice cubes. I would not hesitate to buy another refurbished product from this seller.

I originally purchased this because I'm looking to make **crushed** ice. Not shaved, not blended… crushed. And I am amazed how difficult an ice crusher has been to find. Once I realized that this things *pulverizes* ice (and you're not even supposed to put ONLY ice into it for fear of damaging its blades or motor), I set about returning it. But then I started looking at some Nutribullet recipes, and began to see the value of such a powerful motor/blades. For me, the struggle to drink enough liquid is real, so I am now using it to regularly make smoothies that include blending lemon/lime juice, frozen berries, water and lots of ice cubes (no processed sugar at all). The result brings me back to my childhood of eating shaved ice treats. It pulverizes its contents so completely, that I can even throw in kale or spinach and not taste a bit of it. It's really an amazingly powerful machine! I didn't even know they made blenders that were this powerful, although I've been hearing about the nutribullet for years. BTW, I bought a refurbished model, and I've had no problems whatsoever. Some of the other reviews talked about leaks… I have experienced none.

Do not recommend getting a refurbished item. Mine literally fell to pieces on my counter after I took it out of the packaging. Most of the screws holding it together were missing, one broke off from the inner motor and fell out. Was trying to be economical getting a refurbished model, but it wasn't worth it.

Everything came, and in working order! Super easy to clean. Good price for what I received. As a note, it will blend ice for smoothies or pina coladas to a smooth consistency without leaving ice chunks. So happy to finally have one!

Super heavy duty! The base is not small but at least small enough to keep out on the counter, and doesn't clash with our bowl mixer. We use this 4-5 times a week, we used to take our smaller MagicBullet up and down out of the cabinet but in our opinion this is too chunky to do that easily so on the counter it stays.
