So, I bought the NutriBullet Turbo 1000-watt because I have been making my protein shakes with my Ninja (another great brand) hand mixer using the immersion blender feature, and it froths up too much (which is what it's supposed to do) and overflows all over the counter and makes a mess. So, I decided I needed a more effective and efficient way to make my shakes every morning, and I broke down and invested in the NutriBullet Turbo! After reading tons of reviews on all the different NutriBullet models like this one, the Turbo was the most logical choice because the 1000-watt motor was solid and the pointed blades did a better job with ice, veggies, and frozen fruits vs the models with flat square blades, and I can now confirm that after using it. My son has the 1200-watt blender bullet combo and loves it as well. He's actually the reason I started looking into getting this one. Wow! The NutriBullet Turbo did NOT disappoint! It's powerful enough to blend the ice, protein & collagen peptide powders, Greek yogurt, and frozen or fresh fruit quickly, thoroughly, easily, and mess-free! It comes with a 32oz & 24oz bullet, 2 flip-top lids that are truly leak-proof,1 very sharp pointed blade attachment, the base, instruction manual, and some recipes. I mix my protein shakes in the 32-oz Bullet because the only thing I measure is the milk, protein powder, and collagen peptide powder. The rest I usually just eyeball and sometimes struggle with proportion, which is why my immersion blender overflowed every time, and the bigger bullet gives me room for trial and error! The bullets, blending blade, and lids are all very durable and top-rack dishwasher safe, but since I use mine daily, I usually hand wash them right after making my shake. The only complaint I have is that there are no measurements on the bullets, only a max fill line. So, I measured out 8 oz of milk, poured it into the bullet, then took a Sharpie and marked the container so I can just pour my milk without having to measure it separately every time. In case anyone is wondering about this before they decide whether or not to purchase this one, this particular model has the twist to blend feature, and there isn't a start/stop button like some of the other models. First, tightly fasten the blade to the bullet (cup), then securely lock it to the base by gently twisting it onto the base until you hear it click, then twist a little harder until it turns on and starts blending. You can stop it at any time by twisting the bullet in the opposite direction. It's very easy to use! I appreciate the compact size for easy storage & portability. The base looked huge in all the photos I saw, but it doesn't take up any more counter space than an electric can opener. This was an excellent buy and great value for money! The blending cup has a generous capacity, making it easy to prepare larger smoothies or shakes. The blending performance is outstanding. It blends fruits, vegetables, and other ingredients into a perfectly smooth consistency with very little pulp, strings, or leftover pieces. Everything comes out creamy and delicious. I also love how versatile it is. Whether I’m making smoothies, protein shakes, or blending fruits and vegetables, it handles everything with ease. It doesn’t leak, which gives me confidence when using or transporting it. It’s also very portable, so I can take it anywhere. Amazing! Frozen fruits blended to perfection. Cup locks in place so you do not have to hold it down to blend. Powerful motor with an automatic shut-off after about 15 seconds. Suction cups on the base hold firmly to the counter. I returned a Ninja for this and have zero regrets.
