Apparently, there’s three levels of Nutrabullets. I had the mid range for several years and it worked great. Until it didn’t. It just stopped working. I decided to upgrade to the highest level Nutrabullet. Pros… You can use the same plastic containers as the mid range. Con…you cannot use the blades from the mid level Nutrabullet on this upgraded version. Pro… If you fill this more than 3/4 full it does a fairly good job. However, I would say it doesn’t mix as well as the mid range Nutrabullet did. If it’s less than a 1/4full, it just doesn’t mix that well. The blade on this is lifted higher than the mid range blade which makes mixing smaller amounts of items more difficult. Overall, this is fine and works for what I need it to do. When this one stops working, I will re-purchase the mid range Nutrabullet. Also to note, you only get one blade with this item. ... show more

Bought a blend jet. Might work for Barbie, but has no power in the land of protein smoothies. Should have bought this in the first place. Just bite the NutraBullet (ha ha) and spend the extra $25 for this...it works great.
