I bought a Nume 5 years ago that needed to be replaced because it was not gliding through the hair anymore. However, the heat was on point. Never had to use it on the highest setting. After doing research, I decide to purchase this Nume with the wider plates. I’ve used it for about 4 weeks now, and it does not surpass the earlier models. The plates don’t heat enough, I have to put it in the highest setting to get it right. Hair gets caught causing breakage. Unfortunately, I do not recommend this particular model. ... show more
