I got this for the kitchen sink area. It is a nice rug for the kitchen or entryway or high traffic area, but it's pretty basic and not a fancy, plush or impactful rug in terms of looks or design, which is not what I wanted for the kitchen anyway. The sides run a bit uneven but that doesn't bother me either. The color ivory is mostly blended with grey and brownish tones so it is more beigey looking overall with the darker threading. It lays flat quickly, mostly the corners curl up which is easy to remedy. It will need something underneath to prevent it from moving though. I find this easy to clean with a vacuum and light steaming. It still looks like new since we've received it nearly three months ago. ... show more

I bought during the amazon sale. Some of the reviews re: quality mad me nervous but for the price I took a chance anyway. My experience for the- Ivory 8'6" x 11' 6" is- The rug arrived fast, it is soft, and looks just like the pics. True to size and lays flat. The color is a very light cream white with medium grey and medium beige/tan. In the pics my floor is a cool tone grey for reference. If you buy a larger size I would recommend being home when it's delivered. They left it at the front door layed straight out from the door into the yard. I have never seen that before, lol But it would be very obvious for porch pirates ;) The only thing, is for some reason, I expected it to be a chunkier thicker braid. Not a big deal it still looks nice. If you want it to feel thick get a rug pad. I did not as I think its soft enough. I also placed it under my bed so it won't be moving at all. The edges are straight or almost exactly straight. It is handmade. Nothing noticable. No stains. no pulls or snags, It was packaged very well rolled in double layer plastic and cardboard at the ends. The Label is sewn on not pasted on like others have mentioned. I have included pictures to show the quality and width of the braid for those interested. I do have cats. We really love this rug! We had purchased this rug in another color (natural color) from another company and fell in love with it. We decided to purchase it in this color from Amazon for the faster shipping. The color is very pretty. The closeup shots of it are accurate. It’s a nice blend of blacks, grays, and whites. To me, it has the appearance of a natural fiber rug but is a much softer feel. In fact, with how soft it feels, I’m surprised it’s sold as indoor/outdoor. I was concerned about that; worried it would be a rough material, but it’s definitely not. I have not had to clean anything on it yet, but I’ve read reviews that spot cleaning it is easy, and with the feel of the rug’s material I can imagine that would be true. The weave on the one I received is nicely done; no pulls or irregularities. It was packaged very well and rolled out flat except for the very edge (it was lifted a bit but after a few hours, and some walking on it, it now lays flat). This rug lays flat in all areas. The one we got from the other company is a much larger size, and I have noticed there is a little bubble in the center area. It might be due to the fact that we put furniture on it right after laying it, so it didn’t have time to flatten completely. Over time it’s flattening out though. Just something to keep in mind if you choose the larger size. We did purchase a rug pad for it. The rug itself isn’t terribly thick, but it’s not thin either. I feel with a nice rug pad it’s the perfect thickness for our needs. I have not noticed any shedding from the rug either. I saw many reviews in my search for area rugs (I don’t think any were about this rug) that complained about shedding. So far, I have not seen any of this. Another thing to note is that the edges of the rug are not PERFECTLY straight. We have vinyl plank flooring and if you’re looking at the edge of the rug against the lines in the floor, you might notice it. I’m not bothered by it, but others might be (my husband noticed it haha). I still love these rugs and would recommend them! ... show more

We've had this rug for almost 4 years now - first at the entryway of our condo at the beach and now at the door to the backyard in our home. It's great! It's been vacuumed countless times and held up. It traps dirt from the dog and has only barely started unraveling at a corner. But with the use it gets, I am okay with that. I may just order another. If you read the reviews carefully you will see many reviewers mentioning that this rug begins to fall apart rather quickly (eg. fibers coming out, tufts from vacuuming, etc.) This is absolutely accurate. Know that if you are buying this rug it will NOT last forever. For me, it was just shy of 1 year before it disintegrated into a million microplastic fibers and I was forced to throw it away. The saddest part was that the fibers stuck to my cats hair, meaning she was licking little up little pieces of plastic. I had to throw it out. The rug is beautiful, soft, and actually works great outside as advertised. I used mine on my small apartment patio. And yes, it got rained on many times, but it never mildewed or molded. I was thrilled with this aspect of the rug. However, the plastic fibers its made out of are actually TINY. That's why any amount of traction will gradually loosen the bond between them, and eventually they all fall apart. I managed to double its life span by flipping it over after 6 months and got another 5 months out of it before trashing it. It felt very wasteful. Though, I loved the rug while it lasted, and the price is very low. So all in all, buyer be ware. ... show more
