After I ordered this rug I found another one in a store that I liked a lot. I tried to cancel the order for this but it was too late. I figured once it arrived I could send it back and that's what I planned on doing. After it arrived I decided to look at it even though I knew I wasn't going to keep it. Well guess what?! I loved the way it looks and the way it feels. I put a nice thick pad under it and now it's perfect. I so glad Amazon didn't cancel my order because this is the rug I've been looking for. This is a nice rug overall. It is similar to how it is presented on the product page. It is soft and close to the advertised size (maybe off by an inch or two, depending on how you want to measure. Two things to note. One is, it is not dense from a face weight perspective, meaning while it looks nice if you were to put your fingers through it, you will see lots of empty base among the carpet loops. It is not awful, but clearly it made made to fill in "just enough". It looks very nice if you are standing on it or near it. it is a nice looking rug, just note if you plan to lay on it, is is more sparse then dense. The second thing is it has a chemical feel to it when you run your hands over it. I expect any carpet to off-gas when it is brand new and that's fine. I actually like a "new carpet" smell, akin to new car smell! But if you run your hands over this carpet, your hand then feels like it has an almost oily coating on it. So if you plan to let toddles crawl on it, etc., worth nothing. Overall though, it is decent and looks great, and it is reasonably priced. ... show more

We looked for a rug for the bedroom for a while. Needed one with the right colors to go with our walls, flooring, etc. This one caught my eye, so I went ahead and purchased it. I'm so glad I did! I'm normally skittish about buying the more expensive items online without having first seen them in person to get a good sense of the feel and overall impression you can only get when shopping in a store. I had to go by the reviews for this rug - and since they were mostly positive, we took the plunge. This rug is not only gorgeous, but it's fluffy and truly makes a statement. It gave the room a nice, soft look and makes the bed stand out like a showpiece. It has sort of a rugged feel (it's soft, but not silky soft - if that makes sense). It is soft to walk on, though, and it's nice and plush. The white isn't stark white and it goes beautifully with the lighter gray color in the simple design. It's a nicely patterned rug that doesn't scream, but offers more interest than a single colored rug does. We're super pleased with this purchase. The size we got (6'7" x 9') fits well under a king size bed without taking up too much room and dominating the floor. Best to use in front of the nightstands. If you'd prefer to use for underneath the entire king bed, go with the larger one. I noticed some reviews about the chemical smell. We aren't experiencing it, but it's possible that it could happen with some. My take is that we're happy with ours so far, but, of course, always do your research. ... show more

Really satisfied with this purchase! I got a size bigger than I had planned (based on budget) and couldn't be happier. Pros: - Found this exact brand on Amazon for half the price of other sites - It is pretty fluffy and high pile whichs gives a lush/cozy look to my tiny living room - White is true white. It really makes my small space look more open and inviting - Does not slip around- the bottom of the rug is sturdy and has not slipped on me. - Even after vacuuming, the carpet fibers stay upwright and fluffy. I was worried that fibers would stay in the same direction I swept in, but they kept their shape! Cons: I'm not finding any cons yet (Have had it about 2 weeks). One thing to note (not really cons) is that the rug is soft but not mogolian fur soft. On a scale of 1 to 10 (1 being harsh and scratchy like a Welcome mat and 10 being soft like mongolian fur), I would rank this about a 7. ... show more

This rug looks good from afar, as you look closer you can see that it is very cheap quality. It has long, yarn-looking strands and is not very full. This rug was one of the cheapest I could find and does get the job done.

Well worth the price. Feels soo good on my bare feet. My Mom saw it and ordered one for herself. Quality is great and color looks rich. Thickness is perfect. Does slide a little, but Im ok with it. Adhesive pads will help secure it.
