I had been debating between this one, and a similar style offered by Safeviah. I'm glad I went with this one! The color is a nice white that doesn't have any streaks of beige in it. As a result, it's very clean and bright looking. The gray is a soft gray and isn't a harsh black. The fibers of the rug are softish -- it's not a full plush (your feet don't sink into it), but still pretty soft. The thread coverage is very good, and I didn't see any bald spots. When you unroll the rug, it doesn't take long before it flattens itself out (I was pleased to find that most of it had unrolled overnight). My rug is 8'x10' for reference. Note there is some off-gassing needed before the rug no longer gives off a chemical smell. It's not too bothersome -- I have a very acute sense of smell, so I just opened the window and let the rug air out a bit. Overall, I'm super happy with the quality and price for this rug. It gives my place a very modern look!

I absolutely love this rug! I purchased the 8x10 retangular size for my dining room and it goes perfectly with my dark wood floor and my dining table. I was a little worried that the quality may not be so great since this was the cheapest price for that size rug I have seen anywhere but it is actually very soft and definitely not cheap looking! I 100% recommend it.

First thing, The "off-gassing" described in other posts cannot be over-stated nor under-estimated. If you indeed choose this product, you will need a place well out of range to air it out for a week or so. The smell is many many times stronger than any other smell from anything else we have ever experienced over several years of remodeling and decorating in this house. It is so very bad. We only hope that continuing to air it out will reduce the odor. Perhaps this and related comments will encourage the manufacturer to eliminate the problem during or following production. Attempting to cover or mask the smell is not effective. You are still breathing the chemical it emits. This causes nasal congestion and a lingering sensation of the odor that follows you. The stuff gets trapped in your membranes. But it IS cute. We bought this rug and a matching runner. The quality for the price seems to match. The yarn is light and thin. I guess low-density is how I would describe it. Well traveled areas will need a more robustly designed product. Our matching runner may indeed be at risk of wearing out more quickly than a typical rug. If we let it stay in the house...

Purchased this rug for my office, thinking I could handle some smell for a few days like the other reviews pointed out. It has been almost one month of this rug being rolled out in a ventilated room, spending nice days rolled out on the porch- and it's chemical, headache-inducing smell still lingers! Spend a little more on a similar rug that doesnt make your guest go "what the heck is that smell?" Texture is also rough, not soft. Even the pets avoid this rug. Update 11/10/2019: Guys....idk what is going on but this rug still stinks! We tired airing it out on the sunny dry porch, we tried vacuuming with baking soda, we tried spraying febreeze. Nothing works. Now even the jackets we store in the closet in the room with this rug reek of chemicals. Finally, we caved and had a professional carpet cleaner come out to clean the rug 3 times. 3 TIMES. They gave us a refund due to being complete baffled by the awful stench of this rug.

LOVE love this rug! A must buy! We laid new flooring in our home and I had been searching for months for a large enough, good quality rug that wouldn't "break the bank". This is an amazing rug for the price. Very soft and easy to clean. It has a bit of a shag textured but I can easily run the vacuum through it with out concern of the rug getting caught in the vacuum.

Dislike: the chemical smell. Well we just opened it and laid it out couple of days ago. So hopefully the smell will go away soon. Like: Design. My boyfriend and I really like the design how it pulls the room together. I ordered this during the prime day deal, so did not spend as much money. We didn't want to open it up until we moved into our new place. But is it still work the $55 (sale price)? Ehh.. I think if I really looked around I could maybe find a better rug for $55. Will I pay $66 for this rug? Nope. Its not that soft, it still has that chemical smell, and it kinda feels cheap. I give it a four star only because I am giving it the benefit of the doubt, and hopefully the smell will go away soon since it was wrapped up for awhile even after it was delivered (it is going away little by little, but VERY little by little each day). I was worried that the corners wouldn't go down after being wrapped up for so long, but they were great. Rolled them the other way once and they laid flat. I also still love the design of the rug. The white and grey is so pretty. It really does bring the room together. I just don't like the texture of the rug. I have seen some shag rugs that are soft (at least softer than this). Was not expecting quality rug, but still for original price close to $70. Thought it would be a little better quality.
