I’m not sure quite how to describe it other than that it was mildly unpleasant, but it seems to have mostly dissipated within the first day. However, my major gripe is that the product page needs to be more accurate. The item description says that the rug comes with a rubber backing, although, to be fair, their pictures don’t show that; it’s just that I only looked at the top of the rug and ordered it. Overall, I like the rug's overall quality; just be aware this requires another purchase to prevent slippage if on a tile/hardwood floor. I’d still recommend it, regardless. ... show more
