Each handmade rug is unique to the artisan who weaved it.These are not considered defectsBunching, Creases and Folded Corners:You may see some creases and bunching in the pile and around the corners when you unroll your new rug. These waves will flatten within 2 -3 weeks as you begin to use your new rug. Use these tricks to help flatten your rug:Back Rolling: Roll the carpet out, then roll it back up reversely with the backside up. Let it sit rolled up reversely for a day or 2, or until it flattens out.Heavy Objects: Lay a piece of heavy furniture or objects on affected areas for a day or 2, or until it flattens out. If the corners are sticking up, curl them back and place heavy objects on affected areas going the opposite way.Heat: Use this technique as a last resort only. Place the rug over a cleared concrete or area like a driveway or sidewalk setting during dry sunny conditions. Allow the rug to be positioned for optimal sunlight as long as possible to give the rug time to absorb the sun's heat for up to 2 hours, but use more time if needed.Blow Dryer: If a large concrete patch with optimal sunlight is not accessible, flip the rug over and use a hair dryer to affected areas to heat up the creases. Always hold the hair dryer 7 to 12 inches away from the rug going side to side on a medium setting, as heat can sometimes cause backing to melt.

(Update: I have ordered 3 different sizes so far. NuLoom, in my opinion, is the best. I didn't want to order from anyone else. Quality is higher here.) I try to save as much as I can when I’m shopping for something but also get good quality. I did find cheaper rugs that had great reviews, but they were thin, and I knew they would flip up in the wind. Once I came upon this, I kept coming back to it, mainly because there were several reviews that said it dried fast. (90% Polypropylene and 10% polyester). It also looked awesome on other peoples porches or decks. I broke down and paid the price for a large one, and I’m so glad I did. Our deck never looked so good before this. It feels like a nice carpet rug, like sisal in a way, probably why one of my cats was attracted to it, but she’s only bothered one time. Now she just prefers to lay on it. Everybody is happy and hanging around outside on the deck more. After a heavy rain, we flip it up to dry, or lay it in the driveway if not feeling lazy, but mainly to let the deck wood dry out. Rugs are very thin and not very soft (as to be expected for an indoor outdoor rug). The 2x3 and 2x8 runner both required rug stickers on the floor to keep the rugs from sliding all over and curling up. The rugs are all a little lumpy after unrolling, but seem to settle a bit. I was very happy with the rug. It was a perfect size (even bigger than I hoped). The quality is very good in terms of stitching and the feel of the material. It feels smooth and comfortable on the feet. It’s on the thinner side for a rug (not plush or shag) but that’s what I wanted. The edges are well stitched and looks like it will not fray very easily (it’s been only 1 week). And the design is very nice. It adds interest to the room without overpowering the space since we choose the muted natural color. And when I rolled it out it laid flat right away even on the edges. It did come with a strong smell but after a day of airing it out by just opening the windows and light fan the smell was gone. It was also well packaged with no damage or stains upon arrival. I needed something for the transition spot from my tile to my hallway carpet and this is perfect. It’s low profile, but not too thin to handle being in a high traffic spot. I put no-slip carpet grip on the two corners on the tile and it’s stayed in place without issues between my family of 5 and two dogs.
