I’ve been on the hunt for a stylish yet functional rug for my living room that can withstand my house with 4 kids. I think I’ve found the one! It looks great with my gray couches and the colors of gray/beige and blue patterns hides crushed up goldfish, fruit loops and other colored snacks my kids sprinkle and stomp on. It’s a bit on the thinner side but it’s super soft!! I have a padded mat under it. I appreciate that the ends of the rug came protected. I was looking for a new rug and saw this for 88% off. I was only looking for a 5x8 but loved the color and price so I took the plunge. With a dog, this will be easier to vacuum then some of the taller rugs. Definitely brighten the whole room. At this point, I'm rather disappointed. The 9x12 rug arrived tightly folded instead of rolled. The creases and waives are horrendous, nothing lays flat. I hope it relaxes quickly. If it doesn't, I'm not sure what we will have to do. Otherwise, it's pretty, thin with a nice pattern, soft enough but not plush. It's a bit lighter than expected so it will be interesting to see how it wears overtime with dog and kids. All in all, it is a decent quality for the price, especially on sale. ... show more

I LOVE the beauty of this rug!!!! It is stunning! The huge downside is after 3-4 months, my rug is totally worn in all traffic areas! The rug itself is very thin, requires a pad underneath for any really comfort when walking or sitting on. The threads have clumped together and are completely worn looking after only 3-4 months...... my previous area rugs are in better shape after 10 years.... Sadly, I would keep shopping for a more plush and higher quality rug that will last you more than 4 months. I keep a very clean home and vacuum faithfully with my dyson. I hope the manufacturer can increase the durability in the future. This patten is stunning and lights up my new home! But will need to be replaced in a year. My first photo is the wear area which is all exposed spots not cover by furniture, the 2nd photo is under my coffee table; no traffic, the 3rd is too show how beautiful it is, but very poor quality. ... show more
