I really enjoyed my first rug. It’s in a high traffic area though it’s recommended that it’s not. It held up well over the past 2 1/2 years. The center of the old rug is still pristine because it’s been beneath a coffee table the whole time I’ve had it. I am happy with my new rug but it seems the quality has lowered slightly. The rug is not as soft as it was the first time and seems slightly less shaggy. This is comparable to that center space from my first rug. I am still happy with my rug however it’s something to possibly note to other buyers looking into purchasing their second rug.

9/2020 Update: I just ordered a replacement of this exact rug. I loved the rug that much. The reason I ordered a replacement was because the original got very matted with time. I noticed the care for this rug includes that it isn't for high traffic areas. That would definitely explain the matting over time in the walking path across it. We have it in our living room. I also used my carpet cleaner on it twice and it cleaned up beautifully. I've changed my stars from 5 to 4. I knew going into ordering the first one, that I was gambling on how it would hold up. I'm not too surprised to be replacing it about a year and a half later, but getting 2 years out of it would have been nice. I feel I got my money's worth and I haven't found a rug I like as much as this one that comes near what I paid. As an apartment dweller, I'm okay not dumping a ton on a new rug for a smaller living room. Shipping again was stellar. I was given almost 2 weeks until delivery when I purchased. The next day, it had been updated to a week until delivery, and then it was delivered that afternoon. Woohoo! It again has a slight smell, but it does not trigger my asthma at all and the very minor corner curl laid flat within an hour. Original review: This rug was perfect for us. I had ordered a rug from a different company and it emitted a chemical smell so strong that it scented my dog after laying on it, so I returned it. I was hesitant to order another rug online, but decided to give this one a chance since it stated no chemical smells. It arrived in under 24 hours from ordering it. Yay!! After taking it out of the plastic wrapper, it had a very faint new rug smell. Notice I didn’t say chemical smell. That made me feel hopeful. The dog loved it right away because it felt so good. I have a 1/2” pad under it for extra cushion. Nowhere did I see it mentioned that this rug was a high/low pile. That was a huge plus for me when I noticed it had it after unrolling it. Foot print don’t show up as easy with this type of pile. The colors were perfect for my Tuscan accented living room. It does have red in the end borders, but it really blended in nicely with the other colors in the rug. The corners also laid flat within hours and overnight, the new smell dissipated. It vacuumed nicely and it did have a couple threads that needed trimming, but not a big deal. I will definitely buy this brand of rug again online.
