I was searching for a rug that was a good price value, soft enough to cushion his falls, and wide enough to cover most of my living room. This rug is perfect for that! I didn’t want to drop $150+ on a rug that I couldn’t even feel with my hands before purchase but I am so glad that I picked this up. I AM SHOCKED THIS COMPANY IS TRYING TO PEDDLE THIS NYLON CRAP! To begin, the rug stunk like plastic before I even had it unrolled. To my horror it got worse! The "carpet" was matted and hard to the touch like fishing line almost. It was covered in stains and burnt patches. It's so thin and lightweight it won't even lay flat. This is a dollar store rug. I am from Dalton, Georgia and grew up in the carpet industry. This is insulting. To think they are falsely advertising this infuriates me. Shame on this company. ... show more

We have an older dog who had soiled a couple rugs, and our solution was to purchase cheap rugs until she is no longer with us. We replaced a nice safavieh shag rug with this one which saved us about $75. I am grateful this won't be in our home for more than 6 months. If I was looking for a rug to keep this would have been returned in a heartbeat. The base is thin and flimsy. If the dogs step onto it it bunches up, which our other rugs haven't done previously. When you step on it, the "shag" flattens out and doesn't re-shape unless it's fluffed back up. The looms are thin, flimsy, and you can see the base through them. Calling it shag is a joke. This is a perfect throw away rug and I'm glad it'll be out of our house before holiday hosting, it's poor quality is embarrassing. ... show more

When the rug first arrived it was rolled up so the ends were a bit curled up. We just sat a book on every corner and the next day it was perfect. We love the color and the softness.

Silver is nice light color, seems true to what the pictures show, good shag, and lightweight. Don't expect ultra plush, or something really dense, this rug is a great, affordable shaggy area rug. Pretty hard to beat for the price.
