The media could not be loaded. This is the perfect right for our family room. With kids and company, I needed something that can be used a lot and walked in with shoes and not look horrible or dirty. This rug does just that! It does have a couple small frays but nothing too bad or really noticable.

I didn't expect to be heavy duty. The only concern is the dirt or lint that has on it. I have major allergy problems and not sure how this will affect me, I will update in couple of months. Overall it looks nice on my dining room.

I did not realize how soft this hand woven jute rug really is. Very well packaged and carefully assembled. Took me about 15 minutes to carefully unwrap the whole casing of the rug. The fibres are intact and did not have any problems with getting rid of the sticker on it (although I was very slow and cautious while removing it). It fits the exact size 5x8 feet ordered and is a accurately represented in color and quality as seen in the picture. It does not need tape to be fixated to the floor, quite thick and doesn't trip you. I had it rolled up the reverse way for a week to get rid of the curling and before laying it in the living room. ... show more

First of all let me say the rug is very beautiful to the natural eye. It definitely matches and goes perfectly with my room. However it has many many flaws and isn't made extremely well. A whole on the edge, frayed edges, white thread. See the pics of the issues. I do love that is a softer weaving material. Not hard like other rugs of this nature. This is a great area run in my foyer. I ordered a larger one for the family room as well. However my roomba is tearing up the edges and today I saw a burn mark on it. So beware if you use a roomba on the regular.
