Have the old version, love it, it never leaks, so I wanted more. Not the same but it’s a great replacement where all other brands I’ve tried leak.

    • Scuff them, then they do not leak when thrown.
I love how basic these are, and that they are clear! There’s something about drinking out of a cup that is not transparent (it bothers me). Con: the valve dislodges if toddler throws cup a few times. I ended up taking the valve out and scuffing both the valve and the cup top (where the valve touches). Scruffing and roughing up where the valve and inner lid touch prevents the valve from flying out and dropping to the bottom of the cup when the cup is thrown. Because I was able to fix these, I now LOVE them. I tried tommee tippy, Chicco’s x 2, nuk soft tips (like them for a short while), dr browns and a few other random brands from target. Love the color of the cups as they’re my child’s favorite and ease cleaning too. Only problem was with one of the four cups purchased. In just under two weeks of having them, part of the lid has cracked where the valve goes into so it fits loosely and leaks a little if still used.

The piece inside the lid to prevent leaks does not stay in very well. One small shake or nudge pops it out and leaks begin!

I would have given a higher rating if I didn’t receive one that was broken and could not be used. But the one that we received has lasted about a year now. Easy to clean, leak proof, and durable!

I bought these cups for my 2 year old and they are great. She used to use the NUK active cup with a soft spout but of course would bite them so this is a great alternative. It is leak proof, only time it leaks is when an upset toddler throws it and the inner piece falls off.
