I love these mats! I use them as plates and why not! No need for a plate and a mat. Easy to roll up with an elastic and shove in diaper bag. I like to use the container it comes in as well. Save the planet and yourself all those reusable place mats. I just wipe it down with a napkin at the restaurant and roll it up and clean it more at home. There are four teeny tiny suction cups on this mat, which are completely useless. The mat is small. I got this so my baby could eat at the table with us with (hopefully) less mess. There’s no way this will work. My 5-month-old pulled it off immediately. Unfortunately will have to return. I’m really disappointed! It’s the only natural rubber food mat I could find. ... show more

This product would be wonderful but there is next to no suction! The bathmat is covered in suction cups on the bottom (makes sense), but why does this mat only one tiny suction cup in each corner. It is way to easy for my 11 month old to lift it off the table and consequently dump all her food on the table and floor. Very disappointing design. ... show more

I ordered this bc of how eco friendly and practical it is. I should've paid attention to the dimensions of this product....its quite small... much smaller than a standard placemat. It'll do for the next 1-2 years I guess. It fits a small baby/toddler sized plate and 1 cup. The suction cups on the bottom are ok. We use this mat everyday and I love it! It’s silicone and food safe so I feel great letting my son eat snacks off of it. It makes clean-up after meals really easy and is itself super easy to clean. This is a pretty mat, but it doesn’t stick to the table at all. My 1 year old pulled it up no problem which meant her food went everywhere.

This Mat is perplexing. It is on one hand the very best you can buy in terms of safety and a truly natural product. So that is the most important thing. These drawbacks are just inevitable, I feel by the nature of the product. Negative: ~mat had a funny smell (I believe from the nature of what it is - NOT a chemical odor) ~ Mat has a very-lightly, tacky texture (I believe from the naturalness of the product) ~Mat ALWAYS looks dingy - just looks a water stained etc. Tried olive oil, tried dryign right away, its not glass or plastic, so ... ~Price doesn't really bother me except, that the bath mat is cheaper and probably more than twice as big, so ... (??) THAT being said, I truly think that the "Miracle" Silicone is going to start fading to the background, and more natural things are going to come back to the fore. All silicone products that I have absorb odors and flavors, rendering them pretty useless for food applications. Plus silicone comes in really whacky colors, AND even silicone products labeled "Pure Platinum" don't always pass the the pinch-test. So where this mat shines is: Color - natural and neutral Feel - ehh its tacky but its also soft Size - really good for small applications or for babies Material - honestly, unless there is a latex allergy component, this is the best that you can buy, and its truly truly natural. ... show more

Very unfortunate to spend $30 and after less than one year mold grows all over it. Hard to stick properly as well. Or to clean in the carved out design.
