  • Does not work for 2010 Malibu
While the connectors physically do fit none of the identified speaker wires line up, and it does not retain critical chime functionality. This should not be sold as a solution to connect a new radio to this vehicle as an interface system is required to make it work correctly. Misleading that this was listed as “compatible” and there were not notifications that it will not work as expected. ... show more

  • Beware the red wire
Not all of the GM vehicles have a 12 volt accessory wire running to the radio. I used this in a 2018 GM Savana 3500. Because of the reviews here, I tested the pins on the vehicle side of the harness for power with the key. Although there were two that read 4 volts when the key is on, there were zero that read 12 volts with key. There is a constant power that is consistent with the yellow wire. They do provide a red wire to tap into accessory voltage if you can find it. I pulled it off of a nearby relay. You may feel more comfortable pulling it from the fuse box. Either way, If you don't know how to test or find accessory power ANY aftermarket harness will be a pain because GM didn't provide a standard power supply at the radio. Not the fault of the harness. Expect lots of extra wire that you don't need or use. Again this harness works for lots of vehicles over a decade span. ... show more
