I use it for my standing desk, to have a nice surface to stand on. It is a good thickness for that. I did break a piece off the edge by then putting my chair on top of the mat for sit time. It probably wouldn't break with normal use.

This mat is really wonderful! I can step out of the shower, drip water all over it and it just absorbs it like a sponge. I sit it on my tub ledge when i am done drying off. No smells and it is always warmer than the floor.

It smells sour, makes my hands and room smell like it. Also doesn't feel worth the price, reminds me of school cork board. What's worse is if you have wet flip flops and step on it, it leaves marks which take forever to go away. I don't recommend this item.

    • Love the look and feel and quality
I thought it was really modern looking to use as a bathmat. It absorbs water well and is so easy to clean vs my fuzzy bathmats. My cat liked to track litter onto the fuzzy ones but this is easy to sweep off. I'm surprised how much I love it.
