Been using this bed frame for a couple months now and its definitely exceeded my expectations, especially since I took a chance with the negative reviews. Solid wood, absolutely beautiful (matches my midcentury headboard perfectly) and was easy to put together. My instructions did include a step to add all the washers in the right place, which older reviews mention theirs did not, so it looks like the company updated their instructions to be more clear. Be sure you’re attaching the legs to the right side of the supports — if you’re not looking carefully its easy to just put it in the wrong side, which I think is where the complaints of legs breaking off might be coming from. This bed frame has been moved around a lot, just from moving the bed back and forth and assorted other bed-based activities, and I havent had any issues with the legs being unstable. Definitely recommend, its a great price for a bed frame like this.

This is a beautiful bed! The walnut stain is perfect and the wood is quality. I agree with other reviewer that told you to look carefully at instructions when screwing in legs. There is a sticker that says “DOWN” on one side of the brace that the leg should be screwed into. They feel very solid. The ratcheting tool they provide for putting together the rails is awesome. Unfortunately, the bolts for the rails are a different size than the braces so you have to use the manual hex key they provide. It is very tedious to tighten the braces due to this. Takes a LOT of work to tighten them down and you need to be persistent to get them solidly attached. If you have a drill with hex bits, I recommend using it to ensure they are good and tight. The only two complaints I have is that there was a one inch bash on the edge of one rail that was deep enough to cause the edge edges of it to create a sharp edge (see photo.) I tried mashing the edges down to lessen the splinter, then put clear nail polish on it to prevent it from splintering off. Also, one of the washers was missing. I had some, so no huge deal.

This is sturdy, quiet, came with all the pieces I needed plus some extra hardware, and only took me about 30 minutes to set up alone. The color is nice and the materials are solid. It is slightly difficult to get things underneath the bed for storage, but that’s honestly great for me because it prevents my cat from moving things around down there. You only have about 7” or so of clearance for things kept under the bed, which I suppose could be an issue for some. It’s wonderful for me though!

Truly excellent value for money. With high end bedding, this product looks expensive and chic where it peeks out. I was surprised how heavy and solid the parts were (free shipping on something like this is diabolical to the delivery staff) and it went together easily and intuitively. This was going to be a “good enough for now” bed until I could afford a nicer one, but honestly I don’t foresee myself feeling inclined to spend money on something different. ONE CAVEAT, and it’s a big one: there was a definite smell when putting it together. Wear a respirator, open the windows, put a fan on and sleep elsewhere for a night or two (or at the very least with the windows open). It has dissipated by day 3.

The quality of this bed is incredible. It is sturdy, real hard wood that was actually stained. It came with the necessary tools to assemble. It even looks great. Definitely checked all my boxes. The only complaint is the stain smell is still pretty strong and the stain transferred on to my wall after gently resting against it while building.

DO NOT PURCHASE this item!!! Within one week of purchase, one of the legs came off and now, 14 months later, two more have bent out of proper position. It's heavy and very dangerous since the legs will not stay in place. The manufacturer DID send a replacement for the original problem, but it continues and it's too dangerous to keep this bed frame! It was not "cheap" and it's very disappointing.

Solid and affordable product. Assembly - Very simple and easy. Attaching the legs was a pain and took some time but it was doable. Sturdiness - Great. Previous bed frame was extremely creaky. Bought this as a simple, affordable replacement. Super quiet and sturdy. The wood slats below the mattress have Velcro on them so they stay put. Glad I bought this.
