It is a required cofactor for an estimated 300 enzymes. Among the processes that require magnesium are fat and protein production, as well as glucose metabolism. The pills are effective, I take 3 at night and sleep like a baby, and has helped my teeth grinding. I am knocking off one star because the pills are HUGE...at least compared to other pills I would take from another brand.

I started taking this o er a year ago. I take it at night and it helps me fall asleep. I highly recommend. Most of us can use more magnesium and this is absorbable and improves your sleep.
