This awning was perfect for our teardrop RV!! The awning’s tree design added a little extra detail to our camping setup. It was easy to set up and has worked well on our trips. Definitely a great find!!

For starters the mouting hardware included isn't even strong enough to support the weight of the awning. Mine would constantly fall down facing the ground. Second my canvas was ripped in half out of the box, Third even if it wasn't cut and the mounting hardware was solid it is virtually impossible to setup with one person. Stay away.

We were excited to use this canopy on our van. It arrived ahead of the projected delivery date and was installed with the expected effort. When unrolled, we were dismayed to see half inch gashes every 6” on one side of the canopy. It appears this happened as it was rolled up into the zippered cover. What is more disappointing is that, after our return was accepted, we are required to pay the return postage on a damaged item received! That just does not seem right. Needing a canopy, we reordered the same model from the same company, also arriving ahead of projected delivery date. When unpacked we noticed immediately that this item was new, having all the protective packaging that the original canopy did not have. Also included were the instructions for installation that were also not included with the original order. Were we sent a used/returned canopy passed off as new for full price?! Other Issues The ad says “retractable” which seems a bit misleading as you physically have to roll it up by hand, not using a roller mechanism. Not a big deal, just misleading. The ad also does not show the images of the pine forest that appears on the canopy’s fabric. Not a deal breaker, just would rather not have it. Never had a chance to use this in the field but it seems sturdy & provides ample shade. Just not happy with the unfair return policy on what we thought was a factory defect. Turns out we were probably sold a used/returned canopy. Buyer Beware.
