I installed these as low beams in my 2020 Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD. The job required an appropriate sized torx head screwdriver and nothing else. I removed 4 or the torx screws holding in the front wheel liner. If you turn the wheel left, do the left light. Same for the right. The lights fit directly into the spot that the originals do with a simple twist. The connection will install in either direction but the light will only illuminate in one direction. Try it one way and if it doesn't work, flip it around. Shove the wires and control box into the hole before installing the weatherproof plug. Try to keep the control box from resting on the heat sink and use the supplied zip ties and double sided tape if necessary. In operation the lights are very bright. Much better than the halogen lights that were stock equipment. I'm very pleased with them at this point but did not rate longevity because I really have no idea. If they last a good long while, they will be good value for the money. I would recommend them. If you are looking for "blue" lights, these are not them. They are a nice bright white. ... show more

2007 Compass is a bit picky about different type of bulbs, besides of the CANBUS. I placed a small 3W incendescent bulb in parallel to increase the comsumption current a little and worked perfect.
