This gray fabric daybed with trundle is really pretty. It went together well - all the holes lined up so the bolts and screws went in easily. The instructions were clear (which is a minor miracle for these things) and all parts and spare parts were in the package. It looks like good quality. The only drawback was when the box was delivered, there was a gash in the side of the cardboard box, and the lining was torn, but it is in a spot that will be covered by the mattress, though we did use some extra strength black tape to bring the edges together. Really enhances the kids' playroom. We haven't gotten the mattresses on yet - just put it together today - but it seems sturdy and I hope will hold up well. I expect it to, so I do so far highly recommend this product. ... show more

I was impressed with the quality of this piece. The instructions were easy to follow, no missing pieces, and no mistakes in the construction. Every hole was well drilled and right where it was supposed to be. It seems solid. It is a paler pink than I thought it would be, but I am so glad it isn’t an obnoxious pink. It is worth the money. The trundle only fits an 8 inch mattress at the most and probably a 6 inch would be better. It is sturdy which was a concern, and it is comfortable because it is so sturdy. Very easy to put together as the directions are very precise and go step by step. Color is lighter than pictured (as why it got 4 stars instead of 5). Size as described and very sturdy. My daughter absolutely loves it.

This was very easy for me to assemble, however I do have a lot of experience putting things together. There is a lot of pieces but the instructions are clear cut and they do a great job at dividing the parts up and labeling them. This took me around one hour to put together. The product is sturdy and the pieces line up well just remember not to fully tighten any bolts tell the end. It also helps speed things up if you have a ratchet screw. After looking in furniture and department stores, we purchased this day bed for my daughter who moved into an apartment she shared with roommates. She wanted to have a bed that could also function as a couch when she watched TV in her room. This bed comes in two options, one with drawers or one with a trundle. We purchased the trundle. The bed is in a 10 foot box and quite heavy. We took the pieces out of the box and brought them to the room. It was easy to assemble and took about 1.5 hours. Good quality for the money. The instructions were clear and easy to follow. Extra hardware was provided. The couch arrived in perfect condition. The grey material is beautiful and linen-like, comfortable to the touch. The tufting adds some elegance to the room. The trundle rolls out easily; however, she ended up putting plastic bins and uses it as storage. If a mattress is placed inside, it can only take a 6" mattress. Anything more will not fit. It would be nicer if they allowed for more modern sized mattresses. The other con to this couch is that a 6" mattress would fit the daybed best. Since most spring mattresses are at least 8", the top of our mattress is almost at the same level as the arms of the couch. This is one of the best daybeds that I have found -- sturdy, easy to assemble, beautiful material and styling, and a great price! ... show more

I was originally shopping for a Murphy bed for the spare bedroom and came across this sofa/trundle! I was a little skeptical with some of the reviews but could not pass on the price! I have had the sofa for about 2 weeks with one weekend guest stay and it is an awesome product! My guests were thrilled to each have their own bed to sleep on!! A very nice feature is that the trundle rolls very easily but is able to move separate from the sofa portion so we were able to move it to the opposite side of the room! The quality is very very nice! I purchased two separate mattresses from Amazon- for the top of the sofa an 8 inch memory foam and for the trundle a 6 inch (although I think a thicker mattress would’ve been fine). It slept really well and my guests were extremely happy! I also had Amazon assemble this piece. The workers who came out to put the sofa/trundle together in about an hour, they were clean, polite and extremely easy to work with! I was there to let them in and they did/brought the rest! Will definitely pay for assembly in the future as it was completely hassle free! Overall very happy with this purchase!! ... show more

    • Beautiful, stylish, and comfortable bed!

Love this bed!! Let me begin with delivery; the box is heavy so expect some bumps and bruises. Nothing was damaged and all parts were included. Assembly took roughly 1.5 hours, the directions were in bound paper format and easy to understand and read. You MUST follow directions especially when you begin installing the slats. You don't want to miss the important step of the slats being curved (for a reason) and the 'Y' connector. If you make a mistake, you will damage the connector and you have limited extra parts. The slats and connectors seem loose, however, are for good reason. The curve must be arc up so when you place the mattress they expand. That is also why they are loose, to expand and contract. The bed is sturdy, the fabric is lovely. If you are worried about stains with children, simply spray with scotch guard. The bed fits an 8 inch mattress nicely, however, the trundle will be snug. We placed a one inch wood block under main bed legs to add additional space for the trundle because we wanted an 8 inch mattress vs 6 inch on the trundle. It also allows for a blanket to stored more easily. Overall, this bed is beautiful! ... show more

    • I wish it would be better
It’s great and not. We keep it. I love the look of it but the bottom part is getting lose almost every time I pull it out. We had to fix it couple times. And the rollers are not good too. So I love the idea but not the execution
